Giants WR Collin Johnson, who tore his right Achilles late in a standout 2022 training camp, told me he is already running on turf and excited about returning even stronger for 2023. Rehab continues, but encouraging progress.
He would have been this team's slam dunk #1 WR ...
BUT - maybe they don't find Hodgins if he's healthy.
How about that for a pandora's box :)
Counting on Collin Johnson and Wandale Robinson to be full contributors early in the season would be something DG would do.
Is he going to say he's looking forward to coming back weaker?
Yup, add Richie James in there as well.
6'6" with 4.5-4.6 speed aint bad. Hope he can make a comeback. The more competition the better.

Can draft a wr1, hodgins, collin johnson and wandale is actually a pretty decent room.

lets not overrate him. if I remember correctly, he looked to be more explosive than previous yr. But he isnt a #1. but could be a hodgins type
It's easy to get carried away sometimes.

Just pointing out what a nothing statement that is.
Golladay is a "has been," but after a year with the Jags and a year with the Giants, Johnson has not yet been anything. I wish him the best, but I'd rather gamble on a healthy rookie prospect.

Golladay is definitely slower now. Johnson in preseason looked notably quicker than Golladay ever has in a Giant uniform.
