One of the major measurements of improvement next year must begin in the East. The Giants must find a way this off-season to compete with Dallas and Philadelphia.
8 Home games
Jets, Patriots, Rams, Seahawks
Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Packers
9 Away games
Raiders, Saints, Cardinals, Dolphins, 49’ers, Bills, Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders
The Giants will be traveling to the west coast 3 times. This schedule is not going to be easy.
OP is right on
But it’s how you get better: learning to be good , succeed, consistently.
TCs 2006 team paved the way to 2007, albeit a 9-7 record, that became an SB , that became the successful 2008 team, until Plax.
BPs 1984 team lead to the 1985 team that lead to the outstanding 1986 team and an SB.
I think the 2023 Rams, Packers will be more reputations than talent, Seattle won’t repeat their ‘22, and Az and LV will still be shaky organizations and teams.
Just trust the process, and let’s stay healthy for a change…and fix our field.
Let's start by beating Dallas.
I don't think we'll catch up to Philly yet.
Our run defense is embarrassing. Giving up over 200 yards on the ground is anything but Giants football
Dallas is already over the cap with a few key starters as FAs.
If the Giants can improve and Dal and Philly lose some players we can close the gap. We alsohave to get over the mental aspect of it too. We havent beaten the Eagles in forever Dallas too.

They were 10-6 in 07. 9-7 in 2011
Quote:
it starts at the point of attack, we are over matched with our O-line against their defensive front, the opposite is true on the defensive side but to a lesser degree, we need to get line bakers and more dline rotation to match their O-line that has dominated us for a decade. Philly it's even more obvious. We simply do not have the men on the line of scrimmage on both sides to compete, needs more investment. That's why every time I hear about our corners and receivers I get so annoyed they are the least of out worries.
