Daniel Jones best bud has himself an eternal practice squad contract.
I'm a WVU fan and loved him there. Thought he had potential as a clutch possession receiver. He just doesn't have the ability to get open on this level it seems. He also has dropped too many balls.
he has experience in Daboll's offense even before this past year and honestly we will be replacing a good portion of the Wide Out group. Sills provides an almost Davis Webb equivalent to the offseason program and camps with new folks needing to understand the program and the playbook.
Good to see all the PS players will continue their careers. Washington will clearly land somewhere. Hard to imagine a better opportunity for a WR than the 2023 Giants - especially if Slayton signs elsewhere.
this past season with NYG practice squad, learning the Giants play book, wouldn’t it make sense he’d want to stay with NYG at least for 1 season knowing how bad the WR room is so he definitely can have an opportunity to show out and get a huge deal if he does?
It’s clear he’s not an NFL player. Even with our WR woes he was healthy and couldn’t get PT. You’d think it’s time to go in another direction.
Teams need players for the practice squad. This likely isn’t a transaction with game day aspirations. Sills knows the offense and he’s supposedly a great influence on younger players with his work ethic. He’s a valuable practice squad player
It will be interesting to see what Terrell Burgess can add. He was really good at Utah and a 3rd round pick of the Rams.
He really never got much starting time in their D, but he is a truly outstanding Special Teamer.
Hopefully the Giants can bring out the skills he showed at Utah.
LOL
He was a 2nd round pick of the Steelers, and finished the year as a veteran on the Giants PS.

He and Davis Webb are really the only ones of note remaining now that Mbaeteka passed on the Giants.

Maybe he can tackle Covey

He's examining his options.

The same may be true of Quincy Roche. All the other incumbent practice squad players have signed, no?
Roche signed with the Steelers
LOL
Apparently he’s Tom Quinn’s nephew.
LOL
But you can definitely cover him with any defender of your choosing.
LOL
