Somewhat off topic & I might have mentioned it before, but I watched 'Sixteen Candles' not too long ago. Good Lord...that movie doesn't hold up well in 2023.
John Waters and Pink Flamingos weird? not sure there is much weirder than that - maybe Rocky Horror Picture Show, but that's gained a cult following (or did have one).
If not quite that far, I saw on older movie in the 80's on HBO all the time called Massacre at Central High.
was the strangest movie I’ve seen in quite some time. If you want bizarre, look no further.
Barbarian end up being much weirder than I thought it would be which is a good thing since it was done so well. Think Cabin in the Woods in regards to horror/sci-fi/comedy.

This movie and its plot were weird. However, it kept my interest with really high level performances by Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon.
It is described as a dark comedy... but the plot was very heavy. I recommend it.
It’s like an acid trip of a movie, included Mr. T as a bearded lady and machine toting dreadlock wearing giant eyeballs called the “rastafari”. Rasta far eye.
written by Charlie Kaufman, who belongs in the Weird Movie Hall of Fame. Also by him:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Weird Jim Carrey.
Adaptation. Nicholas Cage is brilliant playing a double part: twin brothers who are very different.
I really like ESPSM... one of, it not Jim Carrey's best performances.
Btw, you guys should also say if you like/ recommend said weird movies or not. And what they may be about. That might be more helpful than just listing names
is about a kid who was bullied in HS and it went too far and he snapped and embarked on a series of revenge killings and then some of the other bullied kids at the school became empowered also began to engage in acts of revenge against the bullies or their rivals. Very symbolic and political and allegorical. Heathers kind of stole a lot from this movie IMO.
Pink Flamingos was disgusting and I do not recommend it unless you like gross movies with a lot of shock value, there were some mildly funny parts though the story was bizarre.
Sleepaway camp is a campy (pun intended) old horror movie with a creepy, shocking, ending.
Good movie
Great one
Creep
Both on Netflix.
this is the way

It wouldn't get made or released today.
Worth watching?
Eraserhead was te weirdest movie I ever saw.
"Sorry to Bother You"
I do not recommend it.
Repo: The Genetic Opera
It actually is a sci/fi opera.
Barbarian end up being much weirder than I thought it would be which is a good thing since it was done so well. Think Cabin in the Woods in regards to horror/sci-fi/comedy.
It's a fucking classic LOL
Donnie Darko
Brazil
Wild At Heart
Napoleon Dynamite
Best movie of the year IMO

Blue Velvet was when Lynch went mainstream......

Same, and the worst. I can't take anyone who says there's artistic value in that piece of shit seriously.

You’d have to pay me to sit through that.

For years, whenever he heard anyone mention Heineken, a friend of mine would yell "Heineken? Fuck that shit! Pabst Blue Ribbon!" 🤣
Top 10 on my list. Every time I hear a cast iron frying pan go "dink!" I immediately think of it.
