My pick today is based more on hope than anything else. I admit it. The Eagles are championship caliber. If they lose today, it'll be because of turnovers, bad decision making by Sirianni, and/or sloppy play from Hurts. Today's ame is clearly in their favor today. They're at home and are up against a young 3rd string QB. Niners are not the giants though. They are hella good and won't go down easily like the Giants did. They're too talented.
The Niners need to keep this close, especially to start. Somethin Daboll fell into with his 4th & 8 from the Eagles 40 decision. If Philly gets up more than 2 scores early on, then this will be over.
Purdy is going to hear words today from the Philthy hoodlums that he never knew existed. Unfortunately, the 49ers season comes to an end today. Philly by 9
Fuck the players, fuck the fans, fuck the stadium, fuck the front office, fuck the groundskeepers, fuck the guy that throws the ball to the ref. Fuck them. They’ll probably win. Fuck them anyway.

Also, San Fran RB that teams w/ McCaffery is out.

Whenever recommended zing zang Bloody Mary mix damn were you correct. I hate how much I like this shit. Always been proud of my homemade mix, but this shit is like crack.
They are more battle tested than the Eagles are in the playoffs. That's something to keep in mind.
Yep in the mix pretty much every year. Even going back to those 2011-2014 teams, not relevant to now at all but they are a franchise that continues to knock on the door and pretty loudly. Last few years included.

Yes sir. We're all rooting for the niners today, something I don't like to do considering our history against them, but it's better than the Shitbirds going on.
Said it on another thread that might get lost, pulling for you folks down there in the lion’s den. I can’t imagine the hate and disgust you must have for them. Actually I can.

He’s a piece of shit. If you took him off the sidelines, he’d fit exactly in hanging out in front of a wawa sucking on a whipped cream canister and asking for beer money. Fuck that guy forever.
play like that unless you're 100% sure he caught it 49ers have to challenge it. You dont have to really worry about saving challenges these days with the new expedited replay and all turnovers/scoring plays being reviewed you don't really have to worry about losing 1 early. It was 10000% worth a challenge
Smith clearly wanting to go fast is all he needed to challenge it. He can't blame Fox, it has to be an automatic challenge as soon as Smith clearly thought it was debatable. There's very little to no risk in losing that challenge. 2nd half different story
Not sure where Shanny's head was at there when the opposing player who caught it is screaming to hurry.
But how does he even see that? Fox showed two quick replays and it wasn't that clear until AFTER the commercial break for the TD.
Hell, his players didn't react negatively on D, either.
He doesn't need to see it. The magnitude of the play and Smith clearly wanting to go fast means you challenge it. Sometimes you have to just throw it and that was one of those

I'm blaming Fox for not showing more angles before Philly got to the LOS.
Yes, Smith wanted to go fast, but I didn't see any 9ers defenders calling for a replay. And the corner and safety appeared to have a good view...
He doesn't need to see it. The magnitude of the play and Smith clearly wanting to go fast means you challenge it. Sometimes you have to just throw it and that was one of those
I get your point. That's fair.
I still think, however, Fox can show more replays quicker since this is their only game of the day, which means they have every camera angle possible.
It’s bullshit tho. Shanahan had NO time to even think of challenging. The whole system is fucking stupid but no shock there. The refs err on the side of whatever fucking side they decide, usually a catch. It’s fucking stupid. The ref was RIGHT there he fucking saw the loose ball but figured fuck it the replay is available. Asshole horse shit. I hate instant replay for this exact reason. It’s a bailout that compromises good officiating.
Did you ever think the Eagles are just a great football team?
This is the wrong way to look at it. They can be a great football team and also get breaks. All four teams this year are great and the truth is the score should be 0-0. This is a one off game where every break matters no matter how great the team. The Patriots in 2007 were great and then a guy caught the ball on his helmet. Great and breaks are not mutually exclusive

Shanahan had no time because the eagles were rushing because they obviously thought it could be overturned. That’s the evidence to pull the flag out.
Always have and always will. I can't stand any of the East teams but The Eagles will always be the most despised teams in the league... I hate them !!!

That's bad.
Booth reviews are only automatic after a turnover or a scoring play. [/quote
HOW DOES REPLAY ASSIST WORK?
Replay officials located in NFL stadium replay booths and designated members of the NFL officiating department in Art McNally GameDay Central at the league office in New York may provide on-field officials with objective information regarding on-field rulings and the correct application of playing rules.
Before, replay officials were only permitted to provide input on limited administrative issues and during replay reviews. Now, they can proactively assist in situations where clear and obvious video evidence is quickly available to assist the on-field officials on objective rulings.
The new assistance rule applies to plays where there is clear and obvious video evidence to proactively address specific objective rulings, such as spot of the ball or a foul, complete or incomplete pass, and touching of the ball or a line:
RE: You can see the golden horse shoe rammed up Philly's ass
Booth reviews are only automatic after a turnover or a scoring play.
They also put a replay assist in this year for plays outside of those and it should have come into play on that 4th down pass.
The new assistance rule applies to plays where there is clear and obvious video evidence to proactively address specific objective rulings, such as spot of the ball or a foul, complete or incomplete pass, and touching of the ball or a line:
Penalty enforcement
Confirmation of the proper down
Spot of a foul
Game clock administration
Possession of a loose ball
Complete or incomplete pass
Loose ball touching a boundary line, goal line, or end line
Location of the football or a player in relation to a boundary line, line of scrimmage, line to gain, or goal line
Player down by contact (when not ruled down on the field)

Of course. Right now though, it's time to root against the Shitbirds. Think about how grand it would be to see them lose at home on their field and see their fans dejected.

It's weak to complain about breaks in NFL games. That shit usually evens out. You're just whining.
Not challenging the smith catch, then trying to block riddick with a tight end. Ki disagree with choosing to kick off to start the game, but we did the same thing.
That needs to be fixed this offseason when the competition committee meets. Any change of possession calls need to be automatically reviewed, including 4th downs.

I think it's embarrassing it took Fox so long to show the replay. They have every camera angle possible for this game. Yet, they showed the replay over five minutes later.
BTW, I'm not suggesting a conspiracy, but those diving catches should be auto reviewed.
Why no one has committed to running the ball on Philly. I really don’t get it. This is not the team to pass the ball on, especially with a 4th string QB. You’re only chance is to run the ball.
The Niners are sharting the bed here with these penalties.
It's going to take a few series to get organized with Johnson. No surprise, actually.
I wonder how close JimG is to returning. I heard a few reports that he could have been activated this week. Imagine if he can play and the 9ers decided against it...

Yeah, before this gets out of hand. Try to line up and run it.

Brock Purdy did some throwing on the sideline, but stopped and is now just standing on the sideline as Johnson remains in the game.
He looks physically healthy enough to be capable but he looks spooked by Niners defense. He’s hesitant or not reading right lane on his run options and he’s sailing some throws downfield.
were playing on a neutral field, that the Niners are the better team.
At what position?
As a team. Both Lines are close. WR edge to the Eagles. RB edge to the Niners. TE edge to the Niners. QBs even. LBs go to Niners. Secondaries are just about even. STs goes to Niners. It's close though. Deebo is an X-factor.

The quarterbacks are not even. I'll give you RB, but that's about it.
I'm talking about Garoppolo and Lance Eric. I'm not convinced by Hurts yet. He plays in a stacked offense and an excellent system. Props to Sirianni and his staff as well as Roseman. Hurts needs to show me something against a great Defense. The Niners have one.
Niners need to find a way to score on Specials and Defense. Looks like the officials are also their opponents today, Green Bay-NYG style in January of 2012.
RE: Eagles did nothing that drive and scored a TD.
Championship round and the Eagles get the golden horseshoe up their ass. No calls against Philly, multiple calls against SF, purdy out, backup comes in and promptly fumbles and barely tries to get it back. Just crazy how everything goes their way.
still one half left. at least make a game of it. 49ers cut it to 7 points and maybe things get interesting. but man, makes me look at Giants loss a little differently.
They're getting away with it. Jeff Stoutland, their OL coach, knows how to coach em up, but this is ridiculous.
If you have watched all the playoff games I think it's obvious as hell that the league has told refs to allow O linemen to do whatever it takes to protect the QB. Two games last week didn't have a single holding penalty on O linemen on pass plays, but there was a defensive holding on D linemen in both games. And you all saw the way the Eagles offensive linemen were bear hugging and tackling Lawrence and Thibodeaux.
It's getting as bad as the NBA, where a three-step travel hasn't been called in more than a decade, and most four-steppers are ignored.
Yeah he was telling me that 49ers were different from the Vikings 2017 lol I dared to make myself a comparison between Case Keenum and Brock but it looks like we got worse than two of those
Really? One drive was extended by an incomplete pass on 4th down, one was aided by defensive penalties called on the Niners and the third was the result of a short field after a Niners turnover.

Are we watching the same game?
The Eagles have one score that shouldn't have counted and got a freebee on a totally unforced error/fumble by a 4th string QB.
Really? One drive was extended by an incomplete pass on 4th down, one was aided by defensive penalties called on the Niners and the third was the result of a short field after a Niners turnover.
Since they have allowed legalized betting, every game I watch, I question its validity. This league feels like its corrupted to me. It's starting to feel like the WWF wrestling. Until they can eliminate humans from deciding what happens on the field, its impossible for me to trust it. They talk up players and teams and make the story before the outcomes.
Beyond gross. The shame of it is that they could have been beaten today. Now we need to sit through the 4th quarter and wait. San Fran's just frustrated now. Can't blame 'em wither.
RE: So who has a better chance beating the Eagles in the SB??
Eagles TD 1 aided by wrong incomplete call on fourth down
Eagles td 2 three defensive penalties and two were on third down. The one on AJ Browj was such bs
Eagles Td 3 short field because the 4th string QB couldn’t field a snap
Eagles TD 4 aided by a ridiculous roughing the punter
RE: So who has a better chance beating the Eagles in the SB??
That hairlipped ref. He was awfully against the giants......and ticky tack calls all going against the niners and the blatant holding from the eagles, dropped passes being called complete......he should be fired after this game. send him down to pop Warner so an angry dad can converse directly with him.
Beyond gross. The shame of it is that they could have been beaten today. Now we need to sit through the 4th quarter and wait. San Fran's just frustrated now. Can't blame 'em wither.
Yeah it’s gross but hopefully I’ll be able to bust the guy at my gyms balls again who wore his NFC Champ shirt for a year the year they lost the SB. I’m hoping for a repeat of that this year.
If you're not going to allow the punters to be touched at all, except if you're aggressive enough to block it successfully, then I mean just put red pennies on then.

These penalties are nonsense to me.
The real problem on the play was the Stoll, the blocker for Philly, held the 9ers rusher so he couldn't block the punt. Because if he isn't blocked, that punt is blocked. Easily.
The NFL obviously doesn't want pass protection penalties called in the playoffs. Refs always limit the whistles in the postseason, but i can't remember seeing such over the top holding in previous playoffs. Bear hugs and outright tackles being ignored.

If I were an Eagles' fan, I'd feel dirty.
But, upon review, I'd probably like that feeling :)
Shanahan cost his team the game by trying go come out passing vs this front four and for not challenging that first TD.
It has snow balled since then.
For the life of me I can’t figure out why no one tried to consistently run on Philly. I don’t even the buy the early deficit reasoning, neither the Giants nor SF seemed to have any interest in it. Thats the one semi-exploitable spot on their defense

Kick him in the nuts please for all of us.
He was proud of it! I’d say nice 2nd place shirt and he thought it was great to wear. I told him I don’t have jack shit from the one we lost but he still didn’t get it.
Fingers crossed that’s the only swag they’ll get again this year. I’m pulling for Cincy because I think they’re the only one with a chance to beat them. I don’t think KC has the D to.
Funny thing is Eagle fans will be telling you for years knocking out Purdy for an NFCCG is a bigger moment than Montana
It will be, for them. The Eagles are a very good team, no one can take that away from them. Perhaps the most well rounded of the teams left playing. They caught some breaks with the injuries but you can only beat the guys in front of you.
maybe it wouldn't have made any difference if they'd been more prepared. I think San Francisco has proven that no, it wouldn't have. The 49ers looked more prepared than the Giants did and they're still getting their heads handed to them. We can all blame that on the Purdy injury but their D isn't keeping the Niners in the game — they might have, but they melted down.
Lol. Garbage. Just like the 49ers and their fans. One of the more annoying fan bases on this planet. Trash hasn't won since Steve Young threw all over a high school San Diego Chargers defense!! That was 1994! New York Rangers bad
Must be pretty cool to be that big and no one can F with you LOL
I just imagine these guys in a bar and someone tries to get close to them!
I've always admired Trent Williams. Outstanding player. The guy just had enough. What's with the Eagles' backup players mixing it up in a game that's in garbajjjj time, as Marv Albert would say?

didnt you see last week Eagles back ups trying to hurt our guys in last 2 minutes?
..and multiple threads, maybe our blowout loss wasn't that bad? lol
And anyone who predicted an Eagles blowout...this was not how you thought it would happen.
4th string QB playing in the 1st quarter is a deathwish.
Did one of those backup QBs throw a pick 6? Asking because San Fran had the number 1 defense this year and Philly still scored 31 up until they took the foot off of the gas pedal.

They got 14 points they had no right earning.
And they played most of the 2nd half with an offense that could not throw a pass.

Yes sir. Still has me heated. Bellinger got hurt too. Richie got dinged as well.
There were BBIers rooting for Eagles in the last Pats Super Bowl.
Don't remember that, but I certainly don't remember anyone on BBI rooting for the Eagles this year with the possible exception of a Dallas-Philly game.
Yeah. There were. We also got the reasons why people on here were cheering them on. Some dude had a sick friend who was an Eagle fan or something and CIP was like "fuck your friend" lol
can an Eagles victory over a top opponent in the NFC somehow simultaneously be an indictment on the Giants.
You talking to me?
I was :
#1 pointing out that the Eagles may have crushed the Giants, but they crushed the better 49ers almost as badly.
#2 like it or not but the Eagles are really good.
Niner’s beat themselves with those stupid penalties on D especially with an assist from refs.
Were any of the penalties, not penalties? I despise the Eagles, but sadly the refs only real faux pas was the non Devonta Smith catch and that was on the booth guys.
Danny White
Michael Vick
Case Keenum
Brock Purdy/Josh Johnson
Doesn't diminish their accomplishment - a championship is a championship. But QB play is a big reason all of those games were blowouts and none are memorable, except for Eagle fans.
You can tell by the tone of Pereira (sp?) voice that his words were saying 'yeah, that was a penalty', while also saying 'yeah, that shouldn't have been called'. Don't think I've ever heard him say 'bad call'.
The Eagles, meanwhile, got very little called on them.
With Purdy out, doubtful 49ers win, but I don't think the refs were going to let them.
Eagles controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides. In today’s NFL, having a competent QB on a cheap contract and loading up on the lines is a viable path forward. Eagles are going to be loaded again next year, but things are gonna get hard for them once they have to pay Hurtz.
That was a piss poor performance by Shanahan and the #1 defense.
Giants lost 38-7 and the 49ers lost 31-7. Screw the Eagles, but they are good.
The refs moved them down the field on their drives lol
Stop the emotion - the 49ers did it to themselves. They were real penalties.
Not all of them section. The roughing the punter was BS regardless of what Pereria says. The Niner was pushed into the punter and at least one illegal contact on a 3rd down stop was within 5 yds and not a penalty.
Also there was a blatant hold by the Eagles on another 3rd down stop where they called hands to the face on SF but not the hold. Even as the play unfolded the play by play guy said there’s a flag for a hold. Lol
but a silver lining to the Niners losing is that they can’t get another Lombardi this year and get a 6-4 edge on us. Either KC, Philly or Cinci will still be behind us with a Super Bowl win.
could have brought Montana and Rice back in their prime today and it wouldn't have mattered. The bottom line is that the Eagles are very well run and coached team and they're going to be a thorn in the entire division's side for the next couple of years.

That’s stupid. It would have been a close game if Purdy stayed in and Shanahan wasn’t an idiot.

The final score proves otherwise. Philly whipped their ass up and down the field starting in the trenches.

What? No Fly Eagles Fly spirit?
My prediction: Niners 20, Eagles 16
Niners' D shows up today big time.
Indeed.
And may Fred Warner be running towards the Eagles sideline - chasing Hurts - and "accidentally" crush that ass-face Sirianni.
The Niners need to keep this close, especially to start. Somethin Daboll fell into with his 4th & 8 from the Eagles 40 decision. If Philly gets up more than 2 scores early on, then this will be over.
49ers are talented and very well coached

More awful than weird
This is going to be a very physical game
Its also a terrible matchup for Hurts. #1 D in the NFL

Yep, totally agree. Reminds of a young Jimmy Johnson... Hate this guy!!!
Not a good sign.
Yeah, she was quite bad.
Tell us again they don't play a significant role.
Lane Johnson being absent those games was bigger than anything else.

Agree 100%. Smith bobbled the ball and was then out of bounds when he gained possession. Cannot believe Shanahan didn’t throw the challenge flag.
Also, surprised that SF didn’t challenge the Smith catch. Looks like it might have hit the ground and Philly certainly didn’t want it challenged.
Quote:
that was actually a catch and Smith was clearly signaling to go fast.

I agree. But the angle showing that occurred AFTER the commercial break for the TD.
Quote:
Not sure where Shanny's head was at there when the opposing player who caught it is screaming to hurry.
But how does he even see that? Fox showed two quick replays and it wasn't that clear until AFTER the commercial break for the TD.
Hell, his players didn't react negatively on D, either.
He doesn't need to see it. The magnitude of the play and Smith clearly wanting to go fast means you challenge it. Sometimes you have to just throw it and that was one of those

Smith's reaction gave it away. TC was the best at challenging. He would have done it.

Yes, but the coach needs to Challenge. Just like eagles just did before the replay.
Then, someone picked it up after the whistles I believe.

Booth reviews are only automatic after a turnover or a scoring play.

I hope they are not using just the tv broadcast to determine when to challenge. They have players and coaches actually watching the plays.
Then, someone picked it up after the whistles I believe.
It was clear. The Niners are morons.
Smith clearly wanting to go fast is all he needed to challenge it. He can't blame Fox, it has to be an automatic challenge as soon as Smith clearly thought it was debatable. There's very little to no risk in losing that challenge. 2nd half different story
I'm blaming Fox for not showing more angles before Philly got to the LOS.
Yes, Smith wanted to go fast, but I didn't see any 9ers defenders calling for a replay. And the corner and safety appeared to have a good view...
Then, someone picked it up after the whistles I believe.
Lane Johnson is constantly early on pass sets.

Yeah, i see that now, thought he picked it up much after the fact.

Every team has a jumbotron. Tiki and VC used to watch it to see if anyone was chasing them during a run. Has no extra influence on the game.

+1. No more turnovers, get some first downs.

I thought their 2017 run to the SB was a joke but this somehow might be topping that.
Lol nope standing on sideline

They also put a replay assist in this year for plays outside of those and it should have come into play on that 4th down pass.

Penalty enforcement
Confirmation of the proper down
Spot of a foul
Game clock administration
Possession of a loose ball
Complete or incomplete pass
Loose ball touching a boundary line, goal line, or end line
Location of the football or a player in relation to a boundary line, line of scrimmage, line to gain, or goal line

It's weak to complain about breaks in NFL games. That shit usually evens out. You're just whining.
Don't hit wire next time dueche
That needs to be fixed this offseason when the competition committee meets. Any change of possession calls need to be automatically reviewed, including 4th downs.

If we're being real about this, about half the Philly players started pointing at the wire simultaneously. I tend to doubt they were making it up.

I think it's embarrassing it took Fox so long to show the replay. They have every camera angle possible for this game. Yet, they showed the replay over five minutes later.
BTW, I'm not suggesting a conspiracy, but those diving catches should be auto reviewed.

It's going to take a few series to get organized with Johnson. No surprise, actually.

"Defeatist"?
I have no skin in this game.
In reverse, Niners should try to get that run game on track.
He looks physically healthy enough to be capable but he looks spooked by Niners defense. He’s hesitant or not reading right lane on his run options and he’s sailing some throws downfield.
Yep. Keep stuffing the run and pressuring Hurts and he’ll toss one their way.
our season is over, lol. There's nothing to be defeatist about.

I'm talking about Garoppolo and Lance Eric. I'm not convinced by Hurts yet. He plays in a stacked offense and an excellent system. Props to Sirianni and his staff as well as Roseman. Hurts needs to show me something against a great Defense. The Niners have one.
McCaffrey running hard.
Saquon is no mccaffrey
Niner’s can win this game if they stop the Eagles rushing attack imv
Hurts looks off today
Yeah, get a three and out here and pound it for another score and Eagles will shit their pants
Eagles are a front running team, they want to come out and steamroll like they did the Giants
They usually play worse in the second half.
Let's see how well he does today against this defense. Lots of QBs would look good behind that OL and their WRs, TE, and RB.
With what the 49ers are down to at QB, I don't even think they have an XFL MVP candidate

It will be, for them. The Eagles are a very good team, no one can take that away from them. Perhaps the most well rounded of the teams left playing. They caught some breaks with the injuries but you can only beat the guys in front of you.
We need to bring in a vet WR.
And anyone who predicted an Eagles blowout...this was not how you thought it would happen.
4th string QB playing in the 1st quarter is a deathwish.

I predicted the eagles would blow them out
He also said the eagles have been underdogs all year. Idiot.

Well no kidding - most teams don't even have a 4th string QB.

I know you did, but c'mon........the Giants beat the Niners today at home.
4th string QB.
That makes too much sense. This asshole thinks he invented the game.
We need to bring in a vet WR.
I don't think so. This win was unimpressive.

Complete and utter.
YOU ARE THE 2017 MINNESOTA BITCH VIKINGS. DON'T YOU EVER QUESTION MY WORDS.
I'm not sure it matters, really.
It's clear Philly knows Purdy isn't throwing so they basically have at least 10 in the box.
I think so.
He'd be pretty good there IMO, even at his advanced age.

maybe it will give our FO more of a sense of urgency than what I'm hearing here.

What are you talking about? This is a great D they're playing. This team won 9 straight and was blowing out the rest of the league.
If I'm Brady, that's EXACTLY where I go. He can end his career with his boyhood team and a title. Niners could use him too.

If he isn’t cooked i can see it. Great defense, weapons on offense.

Right, that's the thing to remember, he grew up there and that's his team.
Must be pretty cool to be that big and no one can F with you LOL
I just imagine these guys in a bar and someone tries to get close to them!
And this board was littered with Giant fans who were rooting for this fanbase in October. Fucking embarrassing.
Yep, that's his MO.
You can dress 3 but why would you waste a roster spot? You're already DOA if Josh Johnson comes in what good is a 5th string QB
Players will not soon forget how they've behaved themselves.

I've always admired Trent Williams. Outstanding player. The guy just had enough. What's with the Eagles' backup players mixing it up in a game that's in garbajjjj time, as Marv Albert would say?
Or Roseman.
Or Lurie.

Did one of those backup QBs throw a pick 6? Asking because San Fran had the number 1 defense this year and Philly still scored 31 up until they took the foot off of the gas pedal.

Be careful Sean you might hurt yourself stretching that far

They got 14 points they had no right earning.
And they played most of the 2nd half with an offense that could not throw a pass.
Where is Andre Waters? That despicable player...

didnt you see last week Eagles back ups trying to hurt our guys in last 2 minutes?
Yes sir. Still has me heated. Bellinger got hurt too. Richie got dinged as well.

Yeah, who was rooting for the fanbase?

Suffered from effects of CTE and took his life
Don't remember that, but I certainly don't remember anyone on BBI rooting for the Eagles this year with the possible exception of a Dallas-Philly game.
Good job. We're going to get the obligatory 60s/70s lecture now.
It is indeed an effed up timeline we're trapped in to see these goons in the SB after having been scum bums two seasons ago.
That was a piss poor performance by Shanahan and the #1 defense.
Giants lost 38-7 and the 49ers lost 31-7. Screw the Eagles, but they are good.
Are you saying there are Giants fans who rooted for the Eagles this year? If so, I must have missed that.

No one is denying Philly is very good.
They are difficult to beat. Even more so when the refs have chosen sides...

The refs moved them down the field on their drives lol
That's rough man. Let's all hope in two weeks you've got the last laugh. I think I'm getting physically ill now.
You talking to me?
I was :
#1 pointing out that the Eagles may have crushed the Giants, but they crushed the better 49ers almost as badly.
#2 like it or not but the Eagles are really good.

Stop the emotion - the 49ers did it to themselves. They were real penalties.
id be fine with it
Don't watch - turn on the other game - save yourself.
I'd prefer the scene from The Dark Knight Rises on the football field.
Bless her heart.
Tell her someone in NJ loves her.

Absolutely, most were.
But let's face facts - with a 4th string QB they were completely rendered useless.
Defenses do get tired.
Go thru ALL the teams - 4th stringer. What do you think happens versus a good team?
Yeah
That was.....embarassing.
I'm not watching but I am literally laughing in my living room right now LOL

Yep, minute Purdy got hurt the game was virtually over.

I'd prefer an asteroid that takes out the stadium along with the surrounding area.

Apparently being objective about the Eagles means you're rooting for 'em.
Were any of the penalties, not penalties? I despise the Eagles, but sadly the refs only real faux pas was the non Devonta Smith catch and that was on the booth guys.
Don't like the outcome at all.
Bad reffing, but also not why the Eagles won.
This is so true. One of the most poignant comments on this thread.

Lol
That’s stupid. It would have been a close game if Purdy stayed in and Shanahan wasn’t an idiot.
Passing under 150 for the game.
And still put up 31 points.
That tells you how bad the other side of the LOS was.

can an Eagles victory over a top opponent in the NFC somehow simultaneously be an indictment on the Giants.

could have brought Montana and Rice back in their prime today and it wouldn't have mattered. The bottom line is that the Eagles are very well run and coached team and they're going to be a thorn in the entire division's side for the next couple of years.

The final score proves otherwise. Philly whipped their ass up and down the field starting in the trenches.
oh, so you played in those Super Bowls?

I think he's an arrogant, over the top prick too, but you have to give credit where credit is due.
