He doesn't need to see it. The magnitude of the play and Smith clearly wanting to go fast means you challenge it. Sometimes you have to just throw it and that was one of those
I get your point. That's fair.
I still think, however, Fox can show more replays quicker since this is their only game of the day, which means they have every camera angle possible.
It’s bullshit tho. Shanahan had NO time to even think of challenging. The whole system is fucking stupid but no shock there. The refs err on the side of whatever fucking side they decide, usually a catch. It’s fucking stupid. The ref was RIGHT there he fucking saw the loose ball but figured fuck it the replay is available. Asshole horse shit. I hate instant replay for this exact reason. It’s a bailout that compromises good officiating.
Did you ever think the Eagles are just a great football team?
This is the wrong way to look at it. They can be a great football team and also get breaks. All four teams this year are great and the truth is the score should be 0-0. This is a one off game where every break matters no matter how great the team. The Patriots in 2007 were great and then a guy caught the ball on his helmet. Great and breaks are not mutually exclusive

Shanahan had no time because the eagles were rushing because they obviously thought it could be overturned. That’s the evidence to pull the flag out.
Always have and always will. I can't stand any of the East teams but The Eagles will always be the most despised teams in the league... I hate them !!!

Everyone stopped and the ball was just lying there.
Then, someone picked it up after the whistles I believe.
A d lineman was running it.
Yeah, i see that now, thought he picked it up much after the fact.

is so annoying.
VERY. I have NO idea what Fox sees in him. He sounds like a H.S. announcer.
He says nothing insightful.
Cliché fest...
what are you guys on about? Greg Olsen has provided a LOT of great insight in the games he calls. Pretty much the opposite of 'cliche'.
San Fran needs to weather the storm.
Every team has a jumbotron. Tiki and VC used to watch it to see if anyone was chasing them during a run. Has no extra influence on the game.

+1. No more turnovers, get some first downs.

Nope. Cannot make throws.
I thought JimG was ready to go?

Niners are phuqed.
The funny thing, we're all thinking that because their 7th-round rookie QB is out of the game.
That 7th rounder has been the guy for them for weeks though
Think they would trade for Golladay?
He was the best, most unheralded signing of the year.
An incredible pick up...
How? Slipping on the sideline?

To each their own. I just don't find Olsen that interesting or good.
