Oh, come on, have you been watching Mahomes play this quarter? It’s been amazing.
All I'm saying is had Jones done that in the Vikings playoff game, nothing else would have mattered. Mahomes is vastly superior to Jones, but that was the kind of thing he would get Jones crucified around here.
Players who consistently make great plays and compete for championships get a pass when they make the odd boneheaded play, at least from me
All Burrow did was throw it up and let Chase have a chance to make a play on it. Nothing special about the pass. Jones has no one that can make a contested 1-on-1 play, our guys need to be schemed open
No. Burrow did more than just throw it up. It was pinpoint to a spot. Chase knew where it would go and he fought to the spot. Because he knows where it's going the defenders don't have a chance
True, it was a great throw. But the point remains that no one on the current Giants roster would have had the same ability to catch that pass even if Burrow threw it.
Of course. Chase is great.

you really think he just chucked it up there? Like it is your local flag tag league? Really? OMG. You Jonesians really need therapy.

It was underthrown and you know it. Chase had both defenders beaten. Chase made a great play on the ball coming back to it.
It didn't look like that to me. I think the play was designed for Chase to come back.

Go look at it again. Rewind. It is obvious. When the ball was released, Chase had a step and a half on the corner and the safety was caught flat footed. If the ball was out on front of Chase, he would have scored on that play.

Well he sorta did, threw it up there for him to make a play. And underthrew it a bit which benefited him.

Great player or not, the timing of that boneheaded play might cost them a trip to the Super Bowl.

But at the same time, that's a huge turnover and unforced.
Saying the obvious but it could cost them the game.

Analytics and probability influencing play calling has made football so much more fun.
It’s not really that analytical. Throw it up to the tall, strong, fast guy who is a great player and see if he can come down with it.
No chance in hell a play caller goes for it on 4th and 6 in field goal range 10 years ago. Zero percent.
What would the reaction be if he didn’t catch it?

to break out that pointless MJ/Drexler reference.
So forced. Brady can have his choice of networks to go to it seems.
He's already chosen. And how does anyone know if he'll be any good?

What’s that go to do with anything? My point is coaches take more “risks” now and it’s more exciting.

Chiefs ruled out WR Kadarius Toney today with an ankle injury.
Haha. Cheers.
Fun game here.
I think KC is at a disadvantage which Mahomes mobility right now. He's usually making plays on the move.
Lol

it doesn't matter. Producer has spilled too much DNA in the shower thinking about Mahommes.
Meanwhile.. bad pass again.
