I think Eagles may be riding (or flying according to them) too high into this game. They haven’t been tested really at all in like 5-6 weeks. Even the Niners defense kind of took step back yesterday after Johnson went in and bumbled around in his drives in 3rd quarter.
The Chiefs have a solid offensive line. My main concern is their somewhat young secondary and if Sneed is limited.
I think Chiefs need to come in early and punch hard to get out to early lead. Opponents have deferred in many games and allowed Eagles too many times to get off to a quick lead.
The Eagles ride on the easy train facing Jones, Purdy and Johnson comes to an end. Now, they are stepping up in class facing the great Pat Holmes. And Hall of Fame HC Reid and 2X SB winning DC.

I hope you're right because I see Philly in a third straight blowout. Their lines are just too good.
but if Mahomes' ankle isn't an issue, he's certainly extremely dangerous. I'm much less bothered by the Eagles this year than I was five years ago. I couldn't even watch that game, I just found the thought of them winning so distasteful. Now, obviously I really want KC to win, but once they were off the schneid, ehh, it sucks but it's not that big of a deal to me. Same with Sox - 2004 was, obviously, just awful. Since then, I really don't like to see them win, but they snapped the curse, each next one isn't nearly as big a deal.
Receivers are banged up and their top corner went down early in the championship game - not sure about his status. Fully expect an Eagles win but will hold out hope that Mahomes has a legendary "legacy game" in him and carries the Chiefs.
but I have a gut feeling the Chiefs win this game.
The Eagles have played the Giants and a 49ers team without a quarterback. Both at home. And the 49ers were within reach until they lost the ability to throw a football.
The Chiefs are another animal. I think the Chiefs beat them.

I said the same thing about Super Bowl 55. I was so sure New England would win but then a week went by and I changed my pick to Philly.
I would say except for QB and maybe WR #1, Philly is better man to man. Better O-Line, Better Defense, Better running, better special teams.
I though KC looked like a mess last night, but Bengals were playing them hard. Now with Philly, these guys are just good. Made Niners look like rag dolls
Philly has the better team, but Reid is a damn fine coach. How many times did he get blown out before even with meh rosters? He and Mahomes will keep them in the game. I hope Spags dials up something to stop these assholes

Plus Reid with a week off is usually really really good
My head is saying Eagles.
I agree

yesterday my eldest daughter (5) asked: "Daddy, why are we rooting for the red team?"
i almost responded, reflexively, "because fuck the eagles."
i was with my five and two year old girls... at a michael's getting arts and crafts.

If you rank the top 20 players in this game, I think 15 would be eagles. Only chiefs on it would be Mahomes, Kelce, Jones, Thuney and Humphrey.
My prediction is Philly 34 KC 27
Eagles 38
Chiefs 24
That's what girlfriends say with these types of questions.
