Pacheco reminds me of Bradshaw more than anyone I’ve seen

Leg of Theismann : 1/30/2023 11:24 pm
I think Bradshaw still runs angrier than anyone I’ve ever seen, but Pacheco is a little more dynamic.

That’s really all I wanted to say.
I know, random but I’m rewatching the AFFCG from last night

What gets me is that Andy Reid keeps getting these players in the draft that everyone else sleeps on year after year. The kid runs a 4.29. Speed kills, and I guess Andy Reid is the only who thinks so because they keep falling into his lap.
Pacheco is nowhere near

Bradshaw. IMV. He is faster, but he does not have nearly the power Bradshaw had. Bradshaw could run people over, Pacheco runs extremely hard and angry like Bradshaw but cannot get that inside 3rd and 1, tough yard. Yes he will break an arm tackle, but he won't be bowling people over.
I think the Marion Barber similarity is better.

Yup
I see it

I can see the Bradshaw comparisons

Barber was more powerful than Pacheco but nowhere as fast. Bradshaw had a bit of both in him.
Same here

I thought the same thing watching him Sunday.
He was sitting there for us to draft him late.A local Rutgers product

that they had to know about. I was screaming at the set
I said the same thing watching the game on Sunday

I definitely see quite a bit of Bradshaw in his game.

For those suggesting Marion Barber, I hadn't thought of him, but that's a good comparison too, IMO. Here's another, albeit a bit of a blast from the past: Barry Foster.
Barber was much thicker than Pacheco

Stylistically, I agree, a lot like Bradshaw with their herky-jerky type of running style.
Gainwell from the Eagles

reminds me a bit of Marion Barber. They don't use him a lot, but every time he touches the ball he is fast and a lot to take down.
Bradshaw was bigger and could get
Section331 : 1/31/2023 9:38 am : link
tough inside yards. Pacheco is much more like his teammate, Jerick McKinnon.
I can see some similarities
Greg from LI : 1/31/2023 9:42 am : link
But yeah, I don't think Pacheco has the power Bradshaw had.

Honestly, the closest comp I can think of for Bradshaw (past or present) is Thurman Thomas. About the same size, similar blend of speed and power in a relatively small body.
Bradshaw might be my favorite RB ever

He was like a poor man’s Barry sanders with a great nose for finding the hole in the second level and some serious straight ahead speed before the ankle injuries piled up. Truly believe we don’t win it in 2007 without him.

Weird, because watching him, while Bradshaw is fair comp, I see Pacheco as running with more power, but yours and some other comments below had me second guessing myself. So, checking:
Bradshaw (definitely a big fave): 5' 11" 195
Pacheco (what a friggin' find ): 5' 10" 215

confirmed my sense that he is 'bigger' than Ahmad, and I don't see him running with less power or force. If anything, I think our guy could juke better and be more elusive than Pacheco
Reminds me that I am all for drafting a mid rd RB
Payasdaddy : 1/31/2023 11:34 am : link
Yes , we have so many needs
But there seems to be a ton of value rds 3-6 ish.
Saquon my just get a 2 yr deal if he is here at all.

Not sure what game you were watching but he did exactly that against Cincy
not bad for a 7th rounder
