Alot of players complained about it causing injuries. Look what happened with Sterling Sheppard on a simple cut. Wonder if they go to a natural surface this offseason

Flies in the face of the idea that grass would decrease injuries
A bad playing surface is a bad playing surface. A well-cared for grass field is the best option, but unfortunately that requires a serious financial commitment and NFL owners are cheap as shit.
For what it's worth, the newer "matrix" synthetic surfaces are a major improvement from what the Giants have at MetLife, which is pretty much the worst option these days.
