to the point I'd call it one of my favorite shows ever, animated or live action.
The show aged so incredibly well due to the style of humor. I love South Park, but the non-stop pop culture references really dates almost every episode of it that you see. A lot of shows have that issue. Not so much for King of the Hill.
But I think it would've been more interesting if they turned Bobby gay. He was always seen as the complete antithesis of his father and a disappointment in his eyes. Bobby was always a bit effeminate and it would've been a great dynamic if they had Bobby come out as gay and see how Hank dealt with it all.
But then the Khan/Hank dynamic wouldn't be as strong if Bobby didn't date Connie.

Peggy is the worst character, by far.
They were clearly hinting that Bobby could be gay. I think if the show were made today, they'd be a little more in-your-face about it and just make him gay instead of "soft".
I remember reading that the concept was they wanted to do a time-jump for these new seasons. If that's the case, I could see adult Bobby "finding himself" as he got older. Either way, I definitely think Judge will will do a great job at showing how old school characters like Hank take to modern culture/issues.
Luann will not be in the revived show.

Interested to see how the characters have grown.
Incredibly underrated show and humor.

I don't know, but Katie Sagal's still got it.
