Losing Tierney first, and then losing Kafka would be doubly bad. At least if Kafka got hired up first, we could promote Tierney to OC and take him off the market.

Which is probably what he'd like. It's his way of letting Giants know that their is interest from other teams so if Kafka leaves they move and give it to him.
