NFT: Planning our 20-year college reunion trip, ideas?

Myself and 7 other guys from college. Looking for something early May, somewhere between NJ and SC, not more than 2hrs from a major airport.. Not looking for anything too urban. Ability to include some lite level of adventure activity like fishing, rafting, hiking, etc. Ideas??

but I went to Salt Lake City in Utah for work and we went snowboarding and snowmobiling there, unbelievable. The natural beauty there is just unreal, I couldn't believe how picturesque the scenes were. I know in warmer months there is ATVing, hiking and other activities. The airport there is great and the mountains are just 45mins away from the airport. It's a fairly dry town though.

How about Nags Head?

You can rent a house on or near the beach pretty cheaply in May, and there are golf courses and other activities available. Plenty of good bars and restaurants.

if the trip doesn't involve women and drinking tequila out of navels, or something similar, then stay home.
