We’re back up and running for the 2023 draft season. Sy will be back on the show when his schedule permits. First episode covers the rosters of the shrine bowl and senior bowl. Devastating news that Roschon Johnson broke his hand yesterday in practice. Happy to chat prospects on this thread if anyone is interested. I’m not going to post every show on BBI but wanted to give you all the heads up that we’re back for this year. Show is available on all your podcast networks.

anyone following the Senior Bowl roster, the replacement for Roschon Johnson is Texas Tech running back SaRodorick Thompson.

Thompson got himself in some trouble in 2020 when he and others were arrested for street auto racing in Lubbock Texas, but it was over 2.5 years ago and he is a solid RB prospect.
Thanks, Yankee.

He’s looked good so far in practice today. The interviewed Nagy on the NFL + coverage and he explained that he called the kid last night and he was on a flight asap to get there. Had to connect through Detroit to land in Pensacola then catch his ride to mobile. Went right into his physical early this morning and then got thrown out on the field.

Dawand Jones not playing today with an illness but might be back. Emil E the Bama lineman also not in pads today… they didn’t provide an update on him yet.

I'm guessing your name is a tribute to Dave Te. I miss him

No it’s my nickname from college. My name is also Dave. Funny cause we had Dave Te, Dave Sy and me… the three Dave’s.

I miss him like crazy all the time. There’s a hole in my draft seasons since he passed. It was expected as his health deteriorated quickly. No one will ever be able to replace him. He was the greatest scout to ever do it. The fact that he always took time (so much time) to respond to fans was a testament to who he was as a person. He had no reason to spend so much time with me all these years but he loved anyone passionate about the draft.
