Source says Giants guard Josh Ezeudu had shoulder surgery that he is now recovering from. But the timeline still stands: Ezeudu felt good at end of season and expects to be ready for training camp to compete for a prominent role on the O-line
Color me confused as well.

neck or his shoulder - or was it both?
Color me confused as well.
Could it have been the trapezoid muscle? Kind of the neck area, kind of the shoulder....
Another engineering mystery...

Shit, spell check changed it from trapezius...
Lots of stuff connects the neck and shoulder, muscles, ligaments, nerves. Any of which could causes pain in both places. As some who has had issues connected to both, I can attest to the fact that a shoulder issue can causes neck problems and pain. And a shoulder injury can cause you to compensate and strain muscles and ligaments in your neck, and vice versa.
Just because the press says it was X injury doesn't mean it was.
Also, as I said to Eric, it could have been both. The neck issue may have healed. He may have had a shoulder injury too.
Because you think it is a misdiagnosis, does not mean it was.
Plus what k2Tampa said - things are connected.
Da leg bone connected to da ham bone!
Exactly! The neck and the shoulder are connected and a strain to one can cause problems with the other.
I'm currently going through an issue with bicep tendonitis. The problem started in the shoulder and my bicep was strained when it tried to compensate for my shoulder issue.
Some posters on this thread are acting like Ezeudu just had knee surgery to address a neck injury.
Center is another question mark, and I feel Glowinski should be in line to start at RG, but he's a vet and isn't likely to be a starter in 2024 however.
This seems long overdue really

It might be time for the Giants to bring in fresh eyes for player training. We seem to be one of the most injured teams year after year.

For the umpteenth time, the trainers help players rehab from injury. They are not the reason injuries happen. Strength and conditioning coaches are the ones responsible for physical training that is geared to prevent injury. Those guys have been changed several time in the last 10 years.
