Just got turned on the TV , tuned into NFL network and the topic of Julian Love taking exception to Sirianni’s sideline antics was being discussed. Smith then proceeded to question Julian Loves resume hinted the fact “who is he to be talking” basically saying the Giants got beat down 3 times and he’s salty, an idle mind is the devils work, yada yada. Said he needs to be practicing more in the off-season and to keep his eyes open when tackling, practice ball tracking and so on. I’m paraphrasing everything but pretty brutal with all 3 anchors shitting all over him. Thank goodness I’m not a professional athlete because if I were Love and I saw Steve Smith after this airing I’d smack him up like Dr D David Schultz did Jon Stossle! ….and just FYI you’re old if you get that reference!
This. Steve Smith spent his entire career thinking he was a tough guy and trashing anyone and everyone.
That said, he’s not completely off base with the things Love needs to work on, lol
How would you feel if Daboll acted the way Sirianni acted?
And there is more to Siriann's act than the way his conducted himself in our playoff game. He has this tough-guy act on the sidelines where he has challenged other coaches and players. In fact, I've seen it in preseason games.
He's jerk-off and I'm glad one of our guys called him out.
All the hooting and hollering by guys like SS are reasons I can no longer watch NFL pregame shows.
He's teaching an Anger Management class next week
He was atrocious in the playoff game and is a one big reason (of a few) that game broke wide open for Philadelphia before we even got off the bus.
Players do it all the time and most fans say anyone complaining about it is an old fart who just doesn't like fun. Let the kids be kids. Is it any surprise it's starting to happen with coaches. McVey has done it for a couple of years.
Julian took time and effort to appear on your networks show, answer their questions, and give his opinion. To then turnaround and bash him for the soundbite he gave seems wrong.
Also, If he’s so irrelevant, why does your network have him on air?

Exactly! Well said!
Thus the fellating begins.
Last year, the Rams.
The before,…
The year before that,…
If KC wins, Mahomes Reid and KC will get the deep love and cover.
But it IS ironic SSmith trashes anyone.
Andre The Giant had Bobby the Brain,Undertaker had Paul Bearer, etc
Love said Sirianni is getting a free ride…. That s stupid.

losing the game doesn’t make his comments untrue. Most other coaches don’t act like clowns when winning because winning doesn’t give you the right to do it.

I think that’s just talking shit, that’s kinda how it works.
But my post about his comments were on how Sirianni acts, and that’s what started the whole thing anyway with Love. I also don’t see how losing means you now can’t speak.
Still, you need to learn that everything you say in the national media is going to be put under a microscope and analyzed in every single way.
As long as these guys aren’t being profane or worse, than it shouldnt bother people. Answering a question the way he did is as mild as it gets.
A lot of sore losers up in here these days ....

Exactly, you want to shut a guy up, kick his a$$, otherwise take your a$$whooping and be determined to play better. It really is that simple.
P.S. is Sirianni giving of Buddy vibes?
I like that he's as pissed off as the fan base that the Giants have been so uncompetitive with the Eagles for a decade. I hope the Giants can fit him on the 2023 roster at a price both sides can live with.
GFY dude.

all the other stuff, but the stuff he said about Sirianni was downright stupid when they just kicked your ass all over the field. He should have kept his opinion to himself.

So a person paid to give an opinion shouldn't give a negative opinion of something someone says on their network? That's not how that works.

the other guys and his players are out playing the other guys ... they have EARNED the right to talk shit.

I'll say what I said on another thread. Many fans have no trouble with players trash talking and pimping for the camera. And if you criticize that you get called an old fart who doesn't like fun. Why in the world would anyone think that wouldn't start happening with coaches, especially with them getting younger. You're getting coaches now who grew up in the era of trash talking and no class. McVay does it too. So if you think it's okay for players to do it, you are being hypocritical if you bitch about a coach doing it. And because you supported players doing it, you can be blamed for these coaches starting to do it.
