NBA 2k22. About halfway through a season with the 1994-95 Magic. Forgot how crazy athletic Shaq was before he kept bulking up.
I love that 2k allows you to play season mode with all of these classic teams. I wish Madden would do this. Maybe the roster sizes are too big with football?
I stopped playing Overwatch after about 1500 hours, lol. The sequel has made it too difficult to play ranked with friends, I’m literally banned from playing with anyone I know due to my ranking vs theirs.
I’m interested in the new Fire Emblem but have been holding off until I finish the Witcher.
But mostly I've been playing Fortnite with my 8 year old son, which is super fun.
I'm going to play the Dead Space remake and cannot wait for the Resident Evil 4 remake next month.
They haven't announced it for PS yet, but Sons of the Forest (sequel to the Forest) comes out for PC pretty soon I think. If you haven't played the Forest and like survival horror, I highly recommend it.

Current teams. He just subbed them in for the current Magic. It’s really interesting seeing the difference between today’s NBA and back then from a matchup perspective. Shaq hanging around the three point line guarding all of these long range shooting bigs is almost comical. On the flip side he destroys them down low.
That game is awesome but it's quite bewildering. There are some mechanics I still can't quite figure out, but overall it's a pretty impressive accomplishment.
Also, I plan on firing up Witcher 3 again since it's been juiced up with 4K graphics and new content.
I've wanted to do that as well but it's been so long since I've touched it that I imagine I'll struggle re-learning it, or trying to figure out what I have remaining to do.

I play on Xbox and there’s just plenty you can’t do that you apparently can do on the computer version.
great game. Not sure if I'm going to play Last of Us Part 1 after (played the first version of the game but it's been a while). Looking forward to playing Hortizon Forbidden West and Final Fantasy 16 later in the year.
Just finished the Main Story and nearly all side quests 9Favors). Roughly 50 hours of PS5 goodness.
This +1000000 - Love this whole series and loved this game. Gameplay is fun and smooth and story is great! Side quests are fun too. Perfect mix of combat and figuring things out.
and still play the Madden games, kinda helps after a Philly loss to beat the crap out of them lol....
2023 version I am playing now, Ragnorok on board, just dont know anything about it, came in the bundle.
Great topic, lots to look at.
GO K.C.
My son has been playing a lot of Uncharted 4 multi player online

The only slog is having to do the Atreus portions of the story.
Here is a list for you to plough through if you haven't played em
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - 500 hours on this one
Control
Dishonored 1 and 2
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Far Cry 4 and 5 (although 3 is good, it's a bit old).
Ace Combat 7
Sniper Elite 4 and 5
ok...I'll stop now...have fun. We didn't even get to Red Dead Redemption 2 or Mass Effect...
mode (its only on PS5) You can play as teams from 1983, 1992, 2003, or current and play against teams from those eras with MOST of the rosters correct.
Best part? The drafts are (for the most part) historically accurate. Jordan/Olajuwan in 84 (no Barkley) and Shaq/mourning etc in 1992 (no webber). I started with the 83 Knicks and missed out on Jordan and Ewing. I ended up with Kevin Johnson and Joe Dumars though on a 1989 team pretty good.

2k makes excellent sports games. I really wish they could make NFL games again. It’s not just the graphics. It’s how realistic their games play.

Far Cry 5 was great. It was probably one of the last video games I ever played. If Fallout 76 came out after Far Cry 5, then it was Fallout 76. What a piece of trash that game was. That monstrosity made me quit playing video games for good, or the most part. I don't have time for that anymore.
Oh yeah I played parts of Far Cry 6. I guess next thing to look forward to in the gaming world is GTA6? Meh lol still will sell a shit load of "copies"

I haven’t made the switch to PS 5 yet so I was hoping some of you can share your opinions on it. Is it worth upgrading? What are some of the benefits? I assume graphics wise it’s better but noticeable enough to spend the cash?
I haven’t made the switch to PS 5 yet so I was hoping some of you can share your opinions on it. Is it worth upgrading? What are some of the benefits? I assume graphics wise it’s better but noticeable enough to spend the cash?
You know that's a great question..
I upgraded and didn't look back, so maybe biased, but here are the things that stick out to me when I think about your question
1) Hard to say how much better the experience is on games made for PS5 vs their PS4 counterparts because I haven't played them on PS4... so God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West.. just incredible experiences all around, but can't say if its all that much better on PS5 v PS4. But I imagine there is a gap and that gap will widen over time as developers harness all the power of PS5
2) I have played a lot of PS4 games on PS5 (TLOU, Uncharted Seres, original God of War, Detroit Become Human) and one benefit there is just faster load times, which works well for me because love being able to pick up and play for 15 mins here and there
3) The controller! Best video game controller I've ever used. It's incredible. The shape is great and the adaptive feedback triggers are a lot of fun when games utilize them

much better load times and better picture quality (I get 120fps at 4k) are worth the upgrade, IMO. Plus I bundled my new Xbox purchase with ultimate gamepass and pay something like $33 a month for 24 months (no interest) so I never even had to drop the $500/$600 all at once. Gamepass is the best thing in gaming right now and it’s only going to get better.

Looked it up, appears it’s for the newer generation consoles. That’s what you meant by PlayStation 5. You can’t do it on 4.
Nice I’m gonna pick this up at some point unless it’s already on gamepass.

What games are you playing on gamepass right now? I've been playing ghost recon wildlands but I'm looking for something new but not really finding much that I like. I've been on gamepass about a year now and loving it but in a lull of finding a good new game.

Most recently I was playing Persona 5 and tried Hi-Fi the other day. Starfield is the big one that’s coming out later This year.
paid the extra 10 bucks after seeing nary a negative review among streamers on youtube. About three hours in, it does actually look like the real deal. A released game that actually looks pretty polished.
I started Chamber of Echoes this week, really good so far.
Chained Echoes, yea. I just finished it and it's a really solid game. I have some small gripes but honestly I think it's the best RPG to come out in a long time.

Without giving spoilers what are the gripes?
A couple of story points. The Crystal upgrade system is a bit of a mess. And even some battles against non-bosses can take a long time.
But these are really minor issues when you look at the game as a whole. I think it's great.
Will probably check a few videos out for that on youtube
This isn't too spoilery to talk about in terms of the crystals.
The system is overly complex with combining them, having a parent and child combination system and including purity on top of that. And add to that that you get new weapons all the time in the game, so you have to redo crystals, if you choose to.
I did all of the content until I got ultimate weapons without even touching the crystals. So it's definitely not necessary to complete the content. It's just overly complex for marginal benefit that you have to transfer or redo too frequently.
of Hogwarts Legacy with my daughter and it’s incredible so far. Felt just like an opening of one of the movies - she was wide eyed the whole time. Extremely high production value especially with the music.
Also, I plan on firing up Witcher 3 again since it's been juiced up with 4K graphics and new content.
I have Elden Ring lying around, but I am a PC gamer and the controls with mouse and keyboard are a physical and metal disaster.
I love that 2k allows you to play season mode with all of these classic teams. I wish Madden would do this. Maybe the roster sizes are too big with football?

It's great. Some minor quibbles, but overall just a great game.
Everything except the music was done by 1 guy. Sorta amazing to think about.

Come to think of it, why doesnt BBI have a discord?
Chained Echoes, yea. I just finished it and it's a really solid game. I have some small gripes but honestly I think it's the best RPG to come out in a long time.
