Half Light II - No Celebration - Arcade Fire
Spirit of '76 - The Alarm (the Alarm is underappreciated in general IMO)
So Lonely - The Police
Wow, The Alarm. I never thought anyone else noticed them.
I played “rain in the summertime” in the car and my 20 something year old kids were both asking me what song this was. The replacements is another 80s band that are hidden gems.

Half Light II - No Celebration - Arcade Fire

Brings back memories.
I saw the Alarm open for U2 on the pier in Manhattan, back in 1983 (I think).

One of my favorite bands. Seen them or Mike Peters at least 15 times. Always a blast.
A few that I find underappreciated in my circles (like it's just my opinion, man):
Pearl Jam - Animal
Living Color - Nothingness
Steely Dan - King of the World
The Replacements - Little Mascara
D'Angelo - The Charade
Bomba Estereo - El Alma y El Cuerpo
Fool in the Rain - Led Zeppelin
New York Serenade - Springsteen
Nightswimming - REM
Moment of Surrender - U2
Bartender - Dave Matthew
Swallowed by the Sea - Coldplay
Midnight Rambler - Stones
This also reminded me of a guy who was talking about how his son helped him transfer his records to CD because he listened to all this obscure stuff no one ever heard of. Turns out the record he was talking about was Purple Rain.
Galaxy is a good song by them too. They were an underrated band if you listen to their albums a lot of good stuff. Toes across the floor is another one of many..
I always get a kick out of the French hornist showing up late, but they started the session without him. But, yes - a favorite of mine that was under appreciated.

That is a good list
Aerosmith - Sick as a Dog
I could go on and on…
This is England - The Clash
Walking in the Wind - Traffic
I thought I was the only person in the U.S. who bought The Clash's Cut the Crap album. *grin*
but also some that could be on the list:
Drain You - Nirvana
Everything is Easy - 3rd Eye Blind
Half Light II - No Celebration - Arcade Fire
Spirit of '76 - The Alarm (the Alarm is underappreciated in general IMO)
So Lonely - The Police

Unappreciated by whom?
Anywho, I'll put a couple of Who songs out there:
Let's See Action
Gettin' in Tune
I Can See For Miles
Also, an album by Spirit that never got it's due:
Twelve Dreams Of Dr Sardonicus..
Although I am not sure how well known Spirit is at this point in time. So they might not qualify!
Lots of dead/phish and other popular bands from the eras had great songs that were b-sides.....heard space hog/311 on NBC recently too, lol

A lot of the Steve Morse stuff does not get the credit it is due.

Shannon Hoon RIP.
I love listening to him on GnR’s Don’t Cry. His and Axls voices sound good together.
