The Knicks and Jazz have had exploratory conversations surrounding Obi Toppin, Evan Fournier, and draft pick compensation for Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt, per

I would be 99% shocked as hell. Never say 100% but Knicks have no desire to deal with him. Not many GM’s in the league want to deal with him. The Minnesota fool showed you why. Since he sent Isiah Thomas (injured) for Kyrie he is hated.

Brooklyn Nets intend to keep Kyrie Irving sidelined until a trade is finalized ahead of the Feb. 9 deadline, league sources tell
I try to say when I hear something not a rumor guy. Yes a 3 and D wing with some size but I have nothing that resembles being close. IQ name being brought up by everyone. In my opinion it’s stupid to move him. Not the standard rumors out there by Knicks are trying to get Bones. Like him a lot (Knicks do). Not sure how close.

Yeah, its weird, its quiet on the knicks end for me, not hearing anything but around the NBA its busy, problem is it is stalled a little bit with Kyrie stuff and teams are waiting for Toronto to make a decision
It really feels like something has got to give at this point
Some sort of big trade, Thibs getting replaced, some front office folks getting fired or some combination of all the above.
I just have a hard time seeing us continuing status quo too much longer here.
I agree Knicks need to add something but i will also say the Knicks are not that far off, they are playing with some of the best teams in the NBA, just have to learn how to close..
I think a tweak here and there and the Knicks are damn close..
Still think thibs needs to go and Roee needs to pull the trigger..
once and for all, it's Kyrie Irving. I know it hurts us in the short term, but it may be worth it to have him traded there. Send the Nets and Heat into oblivion.

I have no idea how the Heat are where they are right now, Spoelstra is one hell of a coach

Thibs does seem to be one of the bigger issues at this point. His only 'excuse' is to claim his system would work much better with more of his style of players. If you are going to keep Thibs at least a little while longer then you need to find a way and get him OG. If the same crap continues its time to cut the cord.
However Randle is clearly not an ideal late game option and Brunson is the best we have from that standpoint. However that could also be partially due to our over reliance on Iso-Ball and ball stopping at the end of games too.

Haha, so now fans are wishing for Dolan to interfere with the basketball people he hired to run the team.
This just an example of how fans rarely are satisfied no matter what’s happening
Are you are satisfied with what is happening? Anyone lookong for this team to maximize its potential should not be. This team is playing toe to toe with almost every team yet self destructing in the 4th Q over and over and over. It is beyond some small sample size at this point. Something needs to change.

I have no desire for Dolan to interfere with anything but to your last sentence, are YOU satisfied with this team? I get that you’re a team friendly fan and always give them the benefit of doubt no matter what, but when is being a perennial.500 team at best no longer worth being “satisfied” to you? This is not the standard we should be demanding as fans. Oh, by the way this franchise hasn’t won a title since 1973. In the largest market in the country.
Go ahead and be a constant team apologist all you want. But you don’t get to call out other fans for not being satisfied with constant mediocrity. Or worse…

The issue isnt ISO, the issue is who is ISOing, if Randle was a clutch player, this team would be top 4 in the east and we wouldnt be looking at eho the next star is, we would be talking aboutwhat wing can make this team complete..

Not to mention what special does he have to offer from that mediocre .500 roster? Beasly? Vanderbilt? There's 100 of those type players running around in the NBA. Clarkson is interesting as a pure scorer but he's gonna want 3 firsts for all that mediocre crap. Screw him. He had his big summer, raped a pathetic desperate mark in Minny and frankly Laurie Markinen somehow having the career all star season of his life saved the Mitchell trade because Sexton has been garbage and with The Cavs ridiculously young core those #1s are going to be in the high 20's. If he wasn't such an insufferable petty Dbag he could have gotten a much better deal from the Knicks.

Or we were being a little too stubborn on our end on what we wanted to give up. Rose doesn't get a pass from me here either.

Haha, no not terribly, but its incredible to see the stance taken on Dolan come full circle, and surely any fan of any length of time would see the irony in fans calling for him to interfere and not be at least satisfied in that area of progress the team seems to have made. It’s easy to forget but we are a far cry from those days. So while I’ll admit I’m not terribly satisfied I’m not wanting change just for change sake. They spent all this time building assets, I want them to get it right when they finally pull the trigger when using them. The last thing this team needs is Dolan to again become involved and be part of pulling the trigger on some deal he fancies in the moment.
Anything you are hearing on Knicks front?
Seems like they are trying to get a wing..
