I really liked the 2022 Giants team. They were scrappy, never gave-up and were well coached. It's been too long since all of those things came together.

I’ve been a fan through the good and the bad. I started being a fan with the Jerry Goldstyn and Pisarcik Giants and have missed only s handful of games through the decades.

It’s just a hell of lot more fun when the Giants aren’t terrible.

Their whole lives in which they were old enough to watch, the Giants games were basically me yelling at the screen. They wanted to be fans as they got Giants gear. But they’d check in as kids do and it’s always “are we winning?” Almost inevitably it was “no.” They’d frown and move on. Hard to interest them in a team that was hard to watch even for me.

It’s been nice this year to say yes, and try to engage them a bit more. Sad it took until they literally became teenagers.
