Most things about this team are beyond frustrating.
I think this team would be better with Thibs, RJ, and Randle gone. Why sell Obi for pennies on the dollar but we continually watch Randle fuck up? Thibs should be fired for not having his players foul on that last possession in regulation. Why even let them get a shot off? Barrett was fuckin brutal tonight. The combination doesn't work. Something has to be done but Randle and Thibs cannot be that combo that stays. Thibs encourages Randle's bad habits.

Barrett was -20, Randle -11, Sims -9. Brunson was -5 and everyone else was positive. Brunson was great tonight. But most games in the NBA are close late and we play stupid. Yes, that is coaching but Randle fails time and time again with bad shots and turnovers.

His defense was always good. His D is horrendous this year. Every year he has made incremental progress on offense. This year he is brutal. All he seems to have is the ability to drive. He either gets passed his man for an easy layup or gets blocked. He is shooting like 31 or 32% from three. He has no mid range shot.

I'm not blaming him for the loss. I'm pointing out that hd needs to go imo. He's not a winning player. It's the same story with him. He's still arguing with refs. Why does he need an explanation like this is his first year in the NBA?
I said this during his breakout year with us. I wanted to trade him. We saw what happened in the playoffs. I wanted to move him. The next year he sucked. I was against the grain again saying to hold onto him and build his value back up. His value is not going to be higher. What is best for the Knicks? If that means selling Randle high then you do it. This is not a .500 team but that’s where they will wind up barring a trade that moves the needle. The top three in the East are title contenders, but we should be pushing the Cavs, Heat and Nets (with KD hurt and Kyrie leaving) in that next tier.
