Are at the top of the list of "dynamic triples", followed by -
2. Rams - Warner, Faulk, Bruce
3. 49ers - Young, Rice, Watters
4. Steelers - Bradshaw, Harris, Swann
5. Bucs - Brady, Antonio Brown, Gronkowski
The tragedy - I think, the Giants could have been, not in that company, but approaching it - Jones, Saquon, DeVonte Smith
Torry Holt was the real bamf at WR for the Rs of that era.
No disrespect to Bruce, he's a legit HOFer and was great.
Holt was the guy who kept you up at night.

100% agree
It's not even the best triplets on that Bucs team. That would have to include Evans if anyone, then if you force it you have to go Ronald Jones for that 2020 team, but if not you could go Godwin. But definitely not AB.
For Brady-led teams you could go 2011 with him, Gronk and Welker. Or him, Moss and Welker.
But I think Peyton-Harrison-Wayne or Peyton-Edge-Harrison have a beef with your list.
What is criteria anyway? Does it have to be a team that won the Super Bowl?
Roger Craig should be in the HOF.
JFC, Montana, Rice, Craig...?
Staubach, Dorsett, Pearson
Elway, Davis, Smith/Sharpe/McCaffrey

95 receptions, 1200 yards. Closest to that number for us is Slayton (46 receptions, 724 yards).
I like Slayton a lot, but he's not a true "X". Smith is, the Eagles/Dallas trade really screwed us.

Those are not his rookie stats. That was this year. And those are good numbers but, jones Barkley and smith being top trio is laughable.
Each of these dynamic groups had different balance they used on offense regarding pass/run but all had quality OL's.
This is where the basketball on grass fools get it wrong.
Your point about Triplets is well-taken though. I'd go back to the Eli/Jacobs/Plax too. Either play 8 in the box to take away Jacobs (get ripped by Plax deep), or take away the deep ball and let Jacobs run you over.
We have to put defenses in that philosophical bind again.
Lol, I was thinking the same thing. We really do have some kind of curse when it comes to receivers and injuries.
Burress - freak shooting accident
Nicks - knee injury shortened his career
Cruz - knee injury shortened his career
Steve Smith - knee injury shortened his career
OBJ - ankle injury took away a lot of his explosiveness
Golladay - who the hell knows, I’m guessing that hip is bad
Manningham - knee issues one of the reasons he wasn’t kept
Shepard - injured constantly
Wan’Dale - tore ACL rookie season
Hill
Kelce

Smith wasn’t a rookie this season
Chase missed 5 games this season. He’s a #1 receiver, while Smith is a really good #2
Agree! I would say… 2006 was one of our best..
Eli 24 TDs over 3,000 yds
Tiki 2,000 total yds
Plax 988 Rex yds 10 TDs
Shockey over 600 yds 7 TDs
Also 2008 when both Ward and Jacobs had over 1.000 yds rushing
Kelly, Thomas, and Reed easily should be there too.
The Tampa Triplets played together not even 2 seasons. Plus there's no RB. Hard pass.
And you're way overrating Devonte Smith in terms of him putting that group in the top 5.. Do you know how many very good WRs there are in the NFL......he's a good WR nothing exceptional IMO.
Wouldn't even blink an eye.
One is an impact player, the other is not.
i mean "!" not "?"
I agree with this.
Some more on Smith. He was drafted Top 10 yet the Eagles knew they still needed a legit #1.
That's because Smith will never be that. He's good, but will never be a #1. He's always going to be a #2 mainly due to his size (which may also limit his career), and by comparison, there are ton of WRs that are analogous to him.
The pick for all three teams was Parsons.
Why the hell is Mahomes, Hill, Kelce not on this list?
This is correct. I'd even take Eli, Bradshaw, Cruz.
The Cowboys Big 3 is really interesting. I feel like it's so hard to figure out exactly what % of the credit should go to one guy and not the other. It really was a complete team effort that led them to being so overwhelmingly dominant.
The Rams were so insane to watch. Faulk might be my favorite RB to watch ever, so complete.
