I'm told #Giants OC Mike Kafka's Finalist interview with the #Cardinals is currently scheduled for Tuesday, per league source. It will be via zoom--as is the plan for the remaining contenders.
I thought BF was being considered for a DC there?
If they are considering a D oriented coordinator that’d be counter current culture…not necessarily a bad idea if you know how to slow modern high powered offenses.

Based on local AZ reporting from this morning those three are the finalists. Vance Joseph and Callahan did not make the final round.
Wonder if the fact that it’s over zoom and not in person a tell?
That would seem aggressive to me if they hired him completely over zoom. Was the first interview over zoom? I could be off here … I’m still trying to figure out post COVID environment (zoom vs in person 🤷♂️)
just took the Minnesota DC job; so either the Cardinals already informed him someone else is their guy or he wasnt a finalist the way the media made it out to be
would go after a younger inexperienced coach again. Thought they would go after a guy that takes more control which is really what that team needs. Although with Kyler having say who the head coach might be then Kafta would make sense for him.

Reading that Staten Island Lou isn't interviewing until Friday, and then they might still interview coordinators from KC or Philly. So it's possible that Flores had a firm offer in Minnesota and didn't want to risk losing it while the AZ situation sorted itself out.
Lou Anarumo and Mike Kafka. Anarumo is more qualified IMO, but I think Kafka gets the job. The Cardinals are married to Murray at this point, and Kafka has a history of developing young QBs in Mahomes and Jones. I honestly don’t think Kafka is ready, but perception rules the day.

I agree. Hello Shea Tierney our new OC. They have to look for a new QB coach.

Are the Colts or Arizona also planning on interviewing candidates from KC/Philly?
Cardinals are taking an unconventional approach if they are initially
Meeting all the candidates face to face and then following up with Zoom interviews.
Probably a good idea to change the way they have done this process in the past.

I’ve heard that the Philly OC Shane Steichen is the favorite for that job. Indy is waiting until the Super Bowl is over to announce his signing.
Kafka might be a great fit in KC.

Love him as OC. But last year he was a QB coach. Glad he's here as a OC, but I don't believe he's ready to be a HC.
