NGT: Lane Johnson gained 20 Pounds because of Vertical Diet

I am almost fell out of my chair from laughinbg so hard. It is kind of funny how Zach Berman in the Athletic kind of just sidestepped the whole PED (twice busted) thing Mr. Johnson. Maybe that had nothing to do with his miraculous 20 pounds of muscle he needed to sustain his career, but a credible journalist would address it.

If anyone every wanted to go on a performance diet, learn powerliting, bodybuilding etc... Stan Efferding is a complete treasure trove of knowledge and has a talent for keeping things rather simple. There's content all over the internet of him doing seminars, podcasts, YouTube videos etc... I actually eat monster mash for lunch daily as its easy to warm up at work and shovel down, it also tastes pretty good.

As far as Lane goes I'm actually shocked his calories are so low for a guy his size. If I'm correct JJ Watt is around the 9,000 range.

Yup, monster mash 4x a week as well. Take a break Friday for sushi. Kinda going backwards but I learned about Efferding through Matt Wenning.

Sure a vertical diet where red meat and white rice are the staples is necessarily great if your goal is long term good health.
