Free Agency Rumors

Vin_Cuccs : 3/12/2023 2:22 pm
Here are some free agency rumors collected through Twitter on tampering eve. Many of these are simply rumors and rumblings compiled into one thread. If this post is not received well, I will gladly delete.

The Dolphins are interested in trading for Rams CB Jalen Ramsey.

The Giants "would like" to re-sign WR Darius Slayton "assuming the price is right" but it looks like Slayton will earn a bigger contract than what the Giants are willing to pay.

The Giants and S Julian Love are working on a new contract and talks have been "ramping up."

Multiple teams have contacted the Vikings about a RB Dalvin Cook trade. His recent should surgery complicates a potential deal.

The Colts have resigned DE Tyquon Lewis on a 1-year deal.

The Colts have had trade discussions around TE Mo Alie-Cox.

The Vikings may cut S Harrison Smith prior to free agency to create salary cap flexibility.

The Texans have signed WR Robert Woods to a 2-year deal.

The Chargers have restructured the contract of Edge Khalil Mack. Mack was rumored to be a salary cap casualty. He will remain with the team next season.

The Broncos have had trade discussions about WR Courtland Sutton.

The Cardinals have re-signed WR Greg Dortch.

The Titans have been listening to trade calls for RB Derrick Henry, but they are not actively shopping him.

LB Matt Milano has signed a 2-year contract extension to create additional salary cap space for the Bills.

The Bears would like to re-sign RB David Montgomery, but he is going to test the open market.

The Buccaneers will pursue QB Baker Mayfield as a potential starting option.

The Cowboys have inquired about Ravens TE Mark Andrews.

Colts C Ryan Kelly could be traded or cut for salary cap relief.

Lions RB Jamaal Williams will have a robust market, and the Jets, Bengals, and Bills are a few of the interested teams. The Lions would still like to retain Williams.

WR Odell Beckham Jr. is looking for a contract worth approximately $20 million annually in free agency.

The Saints have re-signed TE Juwan Johnson to a 2-year deal.

The Panthers have restructured the contract of LB Shaq Thompson.

The Cardinals have released DE Markus Golden for salary cap relief.

The Chargers and Cowboys have contacted free agent LB Bobby Wagner.

Some other cuts around the league prior to free agency:
Broncos cut CB Ronald Darby
Steelers cut CB William Jackson
Broncos cut RB Chase Edmonds
Panthers cut LB Damien Wilson
Vikings cut CB Dam Dantzler
Rams cut Edge Leonard Floyd
Jaguars cut CB Shaquill Griffin
Buccaneers TE Cam Brate
Titans Edge Bud Dupree
Titans LB Zach Cunningham

The Dolphins have exercised QB Tua Tagovailoa's 5th-year option.

The Jets did not tender RB James Robinson, and he will be a free agent.

The Eagles have re-signed DE Brandon Graham to a 1-year deal.

The Titans have released C Ben Jones.

The Eagles are making one last attempt to resign both CB James Bradberry and S CJ Gardner-Johnson, but it looks unlikely a deal will happen prior to free agency.

The Eagles are unlikely to re-sign DT Fletcher Cox.

The Vikings have cut Adam Thielen.

There has been progress in extension talks between WR Michal Thomas and the Saints.

Vikings Edge Za'Daius Smith has requested his release.

LB Lavonta David will test free agency and is unlikely to return to the Buccaneers.

The Cowboys are hoping to re-structure OT Tyron Smith so he can play RT next season with OT Terrence Steele likely signing elsewhere.

The Buccaneers have released OT Donovan Smith for salary cap relief.

Edge Lorenzo Carter has re-signed with the Falcons on a two-year deal.

The Cowboys have contacted free agent DE Frank Clark.

The Chiefs are working to re-sign both WR Juju Smith-Schuster and OT Orlando Brown, but they are unlikely to strike a deal prior to free agency.

The Seahawks have contacted the Rams about WR Allen Robinson.

The Vikings have released LB Eric Kendricks.

Cowboys TE Dalton Shultz is looking for a contract worth $12 million to $15 million annually.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is generating interest on the trade market.

The Patriots and WR Jakobi Meyers have made no progress on a contract extension. It looks like Meyers will hit the open market.

Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds is looking for a contract worth about $15 million in annual value.

There are still people who think Josh McDaniel will try to trade for Patriots QB Mac Jones.

The 49ers may have interest in QB Baker Mayfield for a QB competition with Brock Purdy and Trey Lance.

The Colts are not sure what to do with QB Matt Ryan.

Bills WR Stefon Diggs is frustrated with the team's lack of playoff success. He discussed this on HBO.

The Dolphins are interested in re-signing both RB Raheem Mostert and RB Jeff Wilson, but they will both likely hit the free-agent market.

Bengals director of player personnel said a trade of WR Tee Higgins in "not on my mind." He is "not in the business of making other teams better" and the chatter is "a little ridiculous." He finished his statements by saying "you want a great receiver, go find your own."

Teams are calling the Texans about the availability of WR Brandin Cooks.

The Eagles have $54 million in dead cap space, the most in the NFL by far.

The Eagles are not expected to retain DT Javon Hargrave. He will get a large contract elsewhere.

The Cardinals may have an interest in signing LB TJ Edwards to pair with new head coach Jonathan Gannon.

why do you always post you will gladly delete a thread if it's not received well?

If this kind of post isn't received well, then fuck the people it's not received well by. Most of us appreciate the time it takes you to compile stuff like this.

Keep posting. Don't delete.

Chicago with the 9th pick could be where Bijan Robinson lands (which is a helluva lot better than him going to the Eagles one pick later). It would take a lot of pressure off Fields to have a big play RB for defenses to contend with.

I am non-confrontational. Rather than hear people complain, I would rather just delete an unnecessary, unneeded or unwanted thread. I'm also not trying to cause more clutter on the board if something has already been posted or if it has minimal value.

I find it hard to believe the Bears would take Robinson. With a great runner like Fields is spending a premium pick like that on a running back next to him seems like a terrible use of resources. They'll be an good running team with a committee next to him. They should spend that pick on defensive line, WR or OL

But Andrews to the Cowboys would be a big problem. Don’t need that in the NFCE.
There would be riots among the fanbase in Baltimore
islander1 : 3/13/2023 12:36 am : link
if Andrews got traded. He's literally their only consistent receiving target.
If Gmen
CornerStone246+17 : 3/13/2023 12:54 am : link
get a legit WR1 and legit CB2, They could sign just average to decent guys almost everywhere else, add a few more in draft, and have a possible kick ass team.
