She looks incredible for her age.
Was nice to see the movie clean up

was my favorite movie of 2022. Also happy for Brendan Fraser, great performance.
Yeoh was great and deserving, as was the screenplay

...but I liked Triangle of Sadness, Elvis and Inisherin more.

I thought Kerry Condon or Stephanie Hus should have won best supporting actress and Barry Keoghan should have won best supporting actor.

Austin Butler was incredible as Elvis, I thought he's win, but I didn't see the Whale so I can't complain.

It's wild how she didn't have any formal martial arts training.
And the supporting actor

Ke Huy Quan, he still sounds the same when he was Short Round.
Doctor Jones Doctor Jones.
Good for him to win Best Supporting Actor also

His reaction to winning was as genuine and pure as it gets. Really happy for him especially since he effectively quit acting for 20 years.

Yeah, those wins for Everything were cool. But when best songs played, seriatim, and in the shadows of dimly lit stage, this scrawny looking girl in pony tail raggedy t shirt and cut offs starts mumbling an opening, then starts belting out Hold my Hand like a gospel singer, was blown away... turns out it's Lady G..
Had no idea

It would have been awesome if he said, "Goonies never say die!" during the acceptance speech."
Pretty cool seeing Short Round reunite with Indy on stage

And of course the Encino Man reference. Did Sean Astin win an Oscar for LOTR? Pauly Shore is next!
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

is on my shortlist of favorite movies ever. I've been a fan of everyone involved in that movie since.

22 years later and she stars in this gem of a movie. Sometimes a "Best Picture" win feels forced, but there was nothing forced about this. The word of mouth love this movie received was so organic. Truly a film deserving of all the accolades.

And he thanked Chunk. Chunk is his entertainment lawyer.
whenever people start talking about best comedies these days
santacruzom : 3/13/2023 3:49 pm : link
I think that without technically being a comedy, Everything Everywhere All At Once made me laugh out loud more than most that would appear on that list. Yeoh was a big reason why.
Can someone tell me the movie
LawrenceTaylor56 : 3/13/2023 3:55 pm : link
where a scene that has a shit ton of arrows in the air and it looks like its flying to one person?

It could be Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or a movie similar.

I second your vote for Barry Keoghan. He really stood out in what was a story of two other people.
