“ The #Texans have signed DT Sheldon Rankins to a one-year, $10.5 million deal, source says. DeMeco Ryans gets a big piece for his defensive front. After two years with the #Jets, Rankins heads to Houston.”

#Panthers' deal for TE Hayden Hurst: Three years, $21.75 million with $13 million fully guaranteed at signing. Solid deal for Hurst in a slow tight end market.

If that’s Loves ceiling, I hope Schoen just gets it done.
In your opinion Eric, is the lack of noise about Love a sign that he is leaving the Giants?
I actually think it’s more likely the opposite with both him and feliciano. I think nyg may have agreements with both but trying to get other stuff done before finalizing structure/announcing. If they were going to lose love I think it would have been to an aggressive offer quickly, like gates, and since that apparently hasn’t happened I assume he had a more typical market in line with what nyg are willing to do.
I’m more confident in feliciano than love just bc all the other centers are gone. So if they lost both of their centers and are sitting on their hands, that would be odd.
man is going to be wishing he took that 12 million last season at this rate
I feel like so many people saw this coming. The odds were always against him getting a lot of money. It just isn't done anymore at that position. Not at all with a guy with his injury history.
I think a Leonard Williams extension is job 1 for Schoen right now - but that’s a guess.
Either him or Jackson. I think they are in a good negotiating position with both of them. They can create plenty of cap room to do whatever they want assuming Waller and okereke are the 2 splashes.
A 3rd splash is doable but tighter so I’d bet against but it’s not impossible.
Yes
We could clear up $$$ with dexter extension, Leo and adoree ext, saquon LT deal
That should clear up 20 million. Don’t need to spend it all. But can grab another good get and a couple rotational guys.
Plus keep ourselves in good shape for X and Andrew Thomas
A good chunk of the 2024 180 cap number would be gone but not all

We can do all the guys and still be sitting on 40 million in 2024
That’s with X, AT, saquon, new dexter deal, adoree and Leo. And jones 45 cap hit.

#Raiders re-sign Jerry Tillery, per a league source.
DT Tillery was released in November and the Giants put in a claim, but the Raiders had claim priority based on their poor record

Pretty eye opening on what running backs are taking this FA season.
