Then they go into the draft with receiver, C, Edge Depth and Corner as top priorities. Throw some darts in the late rounds for LB, RB, swing tackle and DL Depth.
C Jon Feliciano and hopefully Love with no cap space right now... so we need to make some more moves.
I wouldn't call Feliciano a must sign. He was decent but this team needs a better player in the middle. If he is brought back then I hope the Giants draft a G/C on day two or early day 3 to compete with him.

i think it's a near certainty he's back now with most of the other UFA C's off the board including Gates.
I think it's also a near certainty that they draft someone to groom behind him and maybe compete with Bredeson/Ezeudu at LG.

I just looked at the remaining centers on the market and my god is it barren. There are some guards who have played center that are somewhat intriguing like Graham Glasgow and former Giant Evan Brown.

I still think BB may be better at OC and get a chance

I think so too. Bredeson was working with the second team at center for most of the offseason and he reportedly impressed. He did look solid in the preseason as well.
I think he's a pretty good tackler but at best an average coverage player with average or even below average speed. I think Jason Pinnock could be an upgrade and costs less than 1M. The Giants drafted a safety last year and could draft another one this year (it's one of the deeper positions in the draft).
I think the Giants could use that money more effectively in the front 7 or OL.
Around this time yesterday the bomb dropped with Waller
featuring Waller, Bellinger, Hodgins, Wan'dale, Shepard, and Slayton is interesting but could stand to add a WR1. Slayton takes too much heat for the drops.

The #Patriots are giving WR JuJu Smith-Schuster a 3-year deal worth $33m, source said. A big investment.
i dont see how odell tops this
heck, due to two acl, he should get less
i think that depends on how he looked at his workout (including whatever gps times he's hitting right now). jjss has had a number of injuries and even with mahomes had a meh year. the last time we saw obj he was making a big impact on a sb run, and supposedly the previous acl surgery was an issue that got corrected with the most recent one.
i dont like obj for nyg for off field reasons but i think there's a chance whatever deal he signs is messaged as a 3x50m with a little more guaranteed than whatever jjss gets. unless he didnt look good at his showcase.

we still need alot more wandale might not be ready until playoffs drive and he only played a few games last yr
doesnt have to be a wr1 a solid wr2 would help or draft pick
Giving him anything more than a 1 year incentive based deal would be insane.
He did not play last year, has had 2 serious ACL injuries to the same knee. He’ll be a 31 year old receiver whose game was largely driven by quick twitch and explosiveness.
I really hope the Giants aren’t the team that gives him a multi year deal.
I don’t think his market is hot either- it seems he’s asking to be compensated for what he was pre-knee injury (based on a workout where he ran routes versus air)

I've heard some buzz today about the #Giants connected to D.J. Chark and Mecole Hardman. We'll see if that has any legs. You'd expect them to explore all options on the market.

Both offer speed which is what this WR group needs. I like it.
Would expect 2 yrs 20 mil range for Chark. Hardman probably a bit less- he may even want to do a 1 year prove it deal given his age. Would set himself up to cash in next off-season.

I think Hardman can be had for a 1 year $3.5 million contract with incentives. I have no idea what Chark will command but 2 for $20 sounds fair.
Hardman adds a special teams dimension as punt returner
“Think you can expect the Giants to sign a WR and monitor the trade market. It's a position they still intend to seriously address.”
Sign a WR in this market is probably Hardman to replace Slayton as the deep threat, if I had to guess.
I can't imagine Schoen allowing Denver to dictate terms to him on Jeudy. Denver's price has to come down quite a bit. There's no way Schoen gives up a first round pick there. I still think Hopkins is a possibility because the Cardinals have virtually no market for him. A report from ESPN a couple of days ago said only one team was interested in Hopkins
cheapish RB contracts are doing to Saquon's agents? Now add in Zeke being released....
I know a lot of the RBs signed are not in Barkley's class, but still...
Im not familiar with the details on Taylor but I saw that Orlando Browns deal is heavily heavily guaranteed. It’s a different contract. So the opposite of a normal deal that is actually lighter than it appears, that’s heavy deal. I imagine the Chiefs are cash poor now and backloading while the Bengals are taking advantage of studs on rookie contracts with a front loaded guaranteed deal before they gotta pay their big 3 guys on rookie deals.

$60 million of Jawaan Taylors $80 million dollar deal is guaranteed.
Yeah Idk either, weird decision. Browns guarantees are all signing bonus so he’s getting 30m at signing while Taylor has to wait for his second half but not sure that’s enough to justify such lower comp. Probably just the Chiefs thinking Taylor is a much better player.

4 years, $44 million. A crazy overpay. He's a #3 receiver
I would imagine it is more like a 1 year deal
He got $22M guaranteed
Wagner , lavonte David , tranquil , Devin bush and a few others still available
Bush is not any good and Wagner is going to the Seahawks most likely.

And one of the many quality safeties out there
A couple of people are insinuating that this makes him easier to trade.
Could this be a trade between the Bills and the Giants? I also heard that he might be traded to the Cowboys. That he wants to play with his brother.
Plus the cap hit and dead money would be devasting...
A lot of arm chair GM's out there in the twitterverse

I think he will, in non-GTD money. But the Meyers and JJSS signings does ballpark him I would think at below $15M AAV.
With JJSS and Meyers off the board, to me OBJ is the last of the higher-tier WRs with respect to this free agency class, left on the market.

For Jeudy a 3&5 would have been cool with doing. Now the more I think about it, we are better off not overpaying. It wasn't meant to be.
I don't want Odell back. Forget Hopkins. I want younger and cheaper talent.
I am ready to move on to the draft.
we still need a center and another CB.
Brown signed a 4 year deal for $64 million with the Bengals
Taylor signed a 4 year deal for $80 million with the Chiefs
$60 million of Jawaan Taylors $80 million dollar deal is guaranteed.
