I haven't seen this noted elsewhere, but Giants DB Jerome Henderson was one of a half dozen or so DB coaches identified at the South Carolina pro day earlier today. Needless to say he was there checking in on CBs Cam Smith and Darius Rush. I really can't see the Giants taking a CB in the first round, but one would have to think the second would be a more likely target area and both Smith and Rush now look to be in that early to mid-second round area.
I have always thought that one of the most interesting elements of the pro days isn't so much who runs what, but who attends from different teams as it is at least one indicator of a) which players a team is looking at and b) what position or positions they are looking at. And having a positional coach, as opposed to just an everyday scout at a workout tends to suggest some interest.
Of course, one shouldn't necessarily read a whole lot into anything if Schoen and Daboll show up at the Georgia workout on Wednesday (or at places like Alabama later this spring) because its likely anybody who is anybody in the NFL will also be there. We are a little intrigued though to see who if anybody from the Giants front office hangs around for the Georgia Tech pro day the next day. My sense if there is any player that could entice the Giants at #25 other than a WR it could very well be GT DE Keion White, who is that tweener type DL I think the Giants are looking for who can play DE on early downs and then kick inside on passing downs. In the meantime, will pass along anything else we hear. Cheers
Last year's 25th player drafted signed a 4 year deal totaling $13.2 million ($3.3 per year). With what we are paying Williams and soon Dex, going DE in Round 1 makes sense to get a top choice that fits the CAP.
Coastal Carolina also had its Pro Day today (I attached the results). At the Senior Bowl, the word from several reports was that Wink spent a ton of time with huge DT Jerrod Clark. With all the Giants Day 3 picks (we have 7), a name to remember.

I don’t think he fits the bump and run press CB that we’re looking for
I agree. From the little I’ve been able to pick up, Cam Smith seems the least suited for Winks D of any of the first round CB prospects.
Hahahaha. Good one. 👍

Darius Rush
Way too boney. If I'm gonna sleep on any of the prospects it would be Dawand Jones.
Rush is 6’2 198lbs. He’s got the size. Dawand Jones looked remarkably slow at the combine.
He was asked about Combine interviews that he thought went well and mentioned the Giants
