How many NFL players were Eagle. Scouts until they left for college. Active in his church he s what every parent would aspire his son to be. I can see why the Giants wanted him. Great player and great person. Welcome to the Giants Bobby O.
Impressive

Seems to check all of those boxes.

Stanford, Eagle Scout, natural leader, and missed only 1 NFL game due to injury.
Players from schools like Stanford...

are typically going to be very likeable. They are a different breed from a lot of the other guys...particularly those going to the public school "factories." Very similar to Boston College guys and some others (Northwestern, Duke, etc.). Guys from those schools are usually going to be smart and tough, two very likeably traits as a fan. As they often times don't have all the physical attributes the top recruits have, plus it takes certain types of kids to choose high academic schools for football over the other draws (gameday atmosphere, tradition, not to mention even NIL money now these days).

When you choose schools like that it is a life decision, not a 4 year one. But you still get the guys that make it to the NFL from those programs, and when you do they are usually top notch character guys.

doctor, and his story about how he escaped and made it to America is unbelievable…. Nigerian people are some of the very best humans in the world, just smart, tough, dependable people…

It makes me proud to have this kid on our team, and I’m his biggest fan now!!!

He should bond very well with Azeez and the ILB coach who are also sone of Nigerian immigrants. But please keep him away from Azeez’ personal trainer.

I've always felt the same way, i've met many. Strong family and ethical values. My wife works in medicine and also meets many, and always says it as well. And we've sure had some good fortune with them on our defenses too!
An inspiring story for immigrants
