nunes-roches contract details

$2M of his $2.9M salary in 2024 is guaranteed for injury at signing. That $2M becomes fully guaranteed if he's on the roster on the 5th day of the 2024 league year.

So, Giants can get out after this year with $2.9M dead money if they want. But essentially a two-year, $8.4M

Seriously … don’t know anything about this guy but Wink and his staff have a ton of experience in the league and should be able to get what they want … so I’m good.

Nunes-Roches

I have been reviewing some videos of Nunes-Roches.
He is very quick and disruptive. He takes pride in stopping the run. And he comes up big in short yardage situations.

He plays all over the line from (1) tech to (5) tech.

He seems like a perfect compliment to Williams and Lawrence.

This is by far his biggest contract and he's 30.

his snap counts in tampa hovered around 400-500

and what's also notable is the amount of ST he played. i assume a lot of that is kick protection but still something someone has to do.

lawrence played 850 snaps (76%), williams played 604 (53%) even though he missed several games, and the next closest DL were ellis at 362 and mondeaux at 249. at a minimum he should be an upgrade on ellis.

Overpay? He makes under 3.0 million ( cap hit) first yr

He's not gonna Chace the QB all over the field like Sexy Dexy. A two down lineman and will allow Dex to get a breather too.
