Spotrac has the Giants at $14.7M available space after the Nunez-Roches contract details. No details on the Okereke contract, but with 4 year deal and $22M guaranteed potentially looking at around $7M hit year one.
That would leave the Giants with around $7.7M to operate which accounts for top 51, dead money, and rookie pool.
So unless the Giants restructure anyone or decide to backload new FA signing contracts, I'd expect them to be pretty reserved going forward, looking to sign middle and bottom of roster depth for relative cheap contracts.
Kg, leo, maybe dex and if they need to adoree
If saquon signs a LT deal, probably another few million in cap space too
Would love 2-3 more mid tier signings. Cb, 5T, WR, oline
Anything that frees us up to get BPA matched with need as much as possible in the draft.
Think we definitely grab oline in first 3 rds.
NFL is a hard cap, you can't go over at any time for any reason, throughout the entirety of the year.
Teams showing as "over the cap" in Spotrac or OTC right now aren't actually over the cap at this moment, those sites just show what will happen with their cap on March 15, 4pm when all their player contracts advance to their 2023 value.
Still need to either sign Love or another starter caliber safety I think. But I agree that unless they pull of a big move for a WR, probably no new big ticket guys coming in
Maybe they’ll have a deal for Jeudy or someone else in place in case they don’t get their WR in the first round?
Yup

we can't afford to keep slayton, but we're going to get someone better for less?
