“Loved my time in NY. I’d want to play LG and I’d want fair market value. I’m worth way more than minimum. I don’t need to sign tomorrow. (I would for the right deal). I have ACL recovery plus when teams realize that rookie they drafted can’t pass protect I’ll have more value!”

lol
He really is.
Bringing in a rehabbing vet like Pugh to set a floor under the position for the latter part of the season would be fine. I just wouldn't want it to be Justin Pugh.
No thanks on this guy.
He can't stay healthy.
When he is healthy, he is a JAG.
He's been a better OG than he was a OT. PFF gave him a 61 grade for his work last year, which is I believe isn't bad. I believe a 50 grade is perfectly average, so 61 is above average, but not elite.
I don't see what there is to be outraged about.

I highly doubt he even knows who the Giants have playing guard.
And a guy at his age and with his injury history can think whatever he wants, but the idea that an NFL team is going to pay an aging, average guard coming off an ACL injury way more than the minimum is kind of ridiculous.
He said no - he'd rather wait for more money and he wants to play LG
This isn't being a cunt. This isn't firing shots.
Good lord
That's how I took it
@Ky1eLong! I think it worked out for the bears, Kyle went on to be a stud.
well said
Two fold problem. The OL remained poor and using all those premium picks did not allow them to address D which also fell off a cliff. Hence the 2016 spending spree.
Totally inept front office.

Thought they were going to draft me in 2013. I did a private work out a week or so before. I never talked to the Giants and they took me the pick before. They took

At least Schoen doesn’t pull this nonsense. Whoever they draft is someone Schoen will have spoken with; it’s well known that the Giants asked Thibs some tough questions
Justin talks like he is the second coming of Anthony Munoz. He never got tired of hearing his own voice.
Seriously. He wasn't talking about the Giants and their hypothetical rookie lineman (or last year's rookie), but mentioned "teams" in general - basically saying all he needs is one team to find themselves desperate enough to pay more later on as reason why he shouldn't settle for a vet minimum contract with the Giants or any other team early in the process.
Makes sense IMHO, and certainly isn't anything to take offense at.
ABSOPHUCKINGLOUTLEY!!!
He had one good season w the Giants . Another bad Reese pick.
Such a shame the back end of two great Giants and future HOF's had to suffer from those 2011-17 drafts that even started to go downhill before that.
People still wonder why Jerry can't get a GM job and Ross doesn't even work in the NFL.
Yeah more like Nerf darts.
