Once upon a time plenty of people on BBI and elsewhere were all over Josh Rosen as better than Jones. After kicking around a couple practice squads last year, Rosen isn’t even on a roster right now.

The list of QBs that some folks here on BBI claimed were better than Jones is substantially long, up to an including Tyrod Taylor.
As we might be able to agree, Jones started to prove himself last year. If he can continue that trend, there are going to be many people in the media that will look awfully silly as well.

Oh I remember. Matter of fact I got teamed by multiple people on a thread or two - some of them actually seemed appalled that I even suggested not only that mayfield was a clown but that DJ would end up the better player once things settled down around him. Mayfield is a below average starter. The book is out. He was well insulated for a year or so in Cleveland and only had one decent stat (stats are overstated at times) season and he had that playoff win. That browns team was LOADED or close to it.
Eventually mayfield was exposed for the fraud he is. I don’t use that term often but BM is the quintessential fraud QB. Maybe he turns shit around he’s still young and teams continue to give him a chance, but the clock is ticking.
Watch any one of his BM’s better games with the browns. The offense cut the field in half time and time again. Designed rollouts or bootlegs designed to narrow the field because Mayfield can’t see shit out there and when he could see the field the front seven swatted his shit back.
