Guess we'll find out. Between this and signings like Sanu, Agholor and Jonnu Smith, I think it's fair to say Belichick has been shaky when it comes to finding the right vet receivers.
but if he couldn't be a true #1 on KC last year, then he will never be a true #1. He's a good depth WR and that contract is reasonable. Not sure why everyone is so high on Meyers. He's flashed some skills, but he's never been consistent despite opportunities.
The one position that he has been abysmal at fixing is the WR unit. He had a great few years when he acquired Moss and Welker but since then he really just can't seem to find a #1 WR.
I do not understand this move at all. They would have been better off trading for Hopkins, Jeudy, or even Sutton.
It is hard to have a plan when you have the wrong QB and the wrong offensive staff. Nothing is going to work until that is fixed. They have tried to fix the offensive coaching, but the QB still remains a problem.
It just feels like there’s no real plan up there.

BB has developed a real blind spot for WRs. It's now his kryptonite.
On the other hand, he's outstanding at OL and DB evaluations.
Not only was Patricia the OC he also was the OL coach.
