The Tulane Pro Day was today. Word is that his 40s were 4.46 and 4.49. (didn't run the 40 at the Combine but ran twice today)
Some Combine numbers:
5'10"
210 pounds
39 inch vertical
10.5" broad jump
10 inch hands.
This message below from Fowler is from yesterday afternoon. Spears dinner with the Giants was last night.

RB Tyjae Spears is scheduled to have dinner this evening with the New York Giants and will meet with the Titans prior to Tulane’s pro day tomorrow, per source.
One of the most electric players in the class.
An amazing performance
He would be absolutely awesome as a Giant
We could use him. Reminds me of David Meggett

Clemson LB Trenton Simpson talked the most with the Giants during Clemon's pro day today. Giants ILB coach John Egorugwu is running the LB drills at Clemson Pro Day with Wink Martindale and Jerome Henderson, among other NYG reps, also in attendance
Bryan Cox, John Egorugwu, Jerome Henderson and Wink Martindale are all in attendance, per @CarpentierNFL. #TogetherBlue #NFLDraft
The Tigers in addition to Simpson, also have 3 DLs Bryan Bresee, Myles Murphy, and K.J. Henry that will be drafted.
I agree with Robbie. Thank you Y28

Clemson has a number of guys on Defense (3 could go in the 1st Round) so not surprised the Giants had a larger presence there.
Barkley is in tow for a year right now. Beyond that, who knows. Breida and Brightwell are not guys that block adding another body and neither would fill the type of role Spears would (and certainly aren't the longterm replacement if Barkley leaves after this year). Giants have a lot of immediate holes, so I get not prioritizing RB. However, I'm always a fan of leaning into the strength of a draft and this is still a team that should be looking ahead. This year, there's gonna be RBs that are picked after the first that will be absolute studs. I will not be upset at all if the Giants snag some of that value (frankly, will be disappointed if they don't).

Fair point, but I still expect them to get a deal done with SB. He has to realize that this FA season being soft on RB’s isn’t a one-off, and that teams have gotten wise to investing too much $$$ in the position.
Of course, they might love him enough to go higher, or he could drop to Day 3. And if the team reaches an impasse with Barkley, the entire picture at RB changes.
Nice little second round pick. - ( New Window )
