“NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Bengals LT Jonah Williams has requested a trade.
The trade request comes after the Bengals signed LT Orlando Brown in free agency. Williams, a three-year starter, would likely have to move to right tackle if he stays with the Bengals. Trading Williams, who's in the final year of his contract, may be inevitable with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins all needing extensions. Williams would become one of the top tackles available if shopped.”
Should Schoen be interested? This is a guy I wouldn’t mind trading draft capital for.

Absolutely zero fit here
Sounds like he doesn't want to move to RT.
😂😂😂
Yep, his lack of size and power have been the issue I predicted in the NFL.

Hahahaha! Nice one 😝
As said above, I kinda get why a guy doesn’t want to move from LT, as it lowers his earnings potential for what’s probably one more free agent deal in his future
But I also agree he’s not nearly good enough to be dictating his status

The league has changed so RT's are valued more highly than ever before. They are also getting paid significant amounts of money. If Jonah Williams was smart he would shut his mouth, show up to camp in great shape, and then have a hell of a season at RT. Teams would line up to give him $16-20 million per season if he did so.
If Guard is his best position he should also move there if the Bengals wanted him to. Thuney received $16 million a year from the Chiefs two years ago.
Team upgraded his position. And he's unwilling to switch.
Understood as a professional he wants to maximize his value but a dependable team player shifts for the greater good. I mean he could win a 🏆.
