Play on it as is!
Toughen our guys up, and it’ll scare opponents who willl then wear extra padding so as not to get injured, and it’ll slow them down a little.
Bring back home field advantage.
I've been curious about this, because if it is acknowledged that the turf needs replacing - don't players like Shepard, or Saquon or whoever get some kind of reputation restored if they were playing all along on a problematic turf? I realize you could look at other stadiums, maybe they got hurt there - I honestly don't remember. But, if the Giants are replacing turf because of injuries, then that's an admission of some negligence IMO.
RE: If the turf is a legit issue, doesn't 'injury prone' players

If the new turf grips the same way as the old stuff did, I don't expect we'll see much difference.

Legally speaking, correcting an unsafe condition cannot be used as proof that a party has acted negligently.

That makes sense, legally. I thought negligence begins with knowingly putting people at risk, period. But I was speaking more of fan perception, or organization perception. This guy gets hurt, that guy can't stay on the field. Ok, but if the field turns out to be a landmine for injuries (if we believe that), then before someone gets tagged as injury prone, the circumstances of his injury & the field has to be in the mix to figure that out.
the Giants were going back to a natural grass field?
Theyre going to have to for FIFA 2026 - question is if they keep it installed.
They will definitely not. Soccer turf would not hold up for football. They bring grass fields in almost every year for soccer. Nothing different in 2026.
