Mike Gesicki’s contract with the Patriots is one year for just $4.5M. He can earn another $4.5M in incentives. Even with the cap spiking, teams are spending much more conservatively this year it seems.
are JAG's, but Lazard is a better JAG than Slayton. Neither will ever be an alpha, IMO. Lazard has had a ton of opportunities with Rodgers in his prime and could never put it together. Slayton clearly has his limitations.
I think Lazard was a big overpay personally, but they did it to appease Arod.
My dad's a Packers fan so they have a place in my heart. I also watch them every week on recordings. Lazard sucks. I don't know any pack fan that will miss him. I wouldn't pay him 11M for the entirety of the contract let alone 11M per year.

Are you saying Lazard's contract is impacted by this? Because to me, his contract is pretty damn high.
My thoughts as well.
Numbers similar to Slayton's with a first-ballot HOF QB his entire career.
I guess I'm in the minority. Lazard is a WR2 minus to me. Big target with some sneaky ability to get deep and he's a tremendous blocker.
There already is in Dallas IMO. Those guys hate Prescott.
Different players, different size, very similar 4 year stats.
Lazard: 169 receptions 2269 yards
Slayton: 170 receptions 2544 yards
I think Lazard was a big overpay personally, but they did it to appease Arod.
