I would see my FDU Knights win an NCAA tourney game let alone as a 16 seed beating a 1 seed! Smallest team in the tournament. Talk about a Cinderella story!
Giants held training camps there my first two years (I believe). Our school built a new gym in 95 and I think the Giants wanted exclusive access which the school wouldn’t grant.
Teaneck-Hackensack. Still cannot believe it. Many on ESPN including Lunardi calling it the greatest upset in Tournament History. First team that was a "First Four" team that beat a #1 seed. They did not win their regular season conference title, lost by 1 point in their Conference tournament to Merrimac and the only reason they got to play in the First Four is Merrimac is transitioning to Division 1 athletics. Incredible.
I do feel bad for Purdue - Matt Painter is a class guy all the way and they have been totally snake bitten in recent years with some very good teams. Their fans were very gracious after our E8 game in 2019, unlike the bitches from Auburn. I’m glad we are no longer alone in ignominy, but I’m sorry it was Purdue that joined us.
Purdue was so perplexed no one wanted to take a shot.
Their 7' 4" center was slow as molasses and the little guys abused him
what a great game.
As a Monmouth alum Congrats to FDU
Purdue was by far the easiest 1 seed to see being picked off
Starting an all freshman backcourt is death in the tournament. This is not the 1 and done era any more. It's the portal transfer era where you have senior ladwn teams like the old days. Great job by FDU though.
Huge upset. Top seeds getting knocked out is pretty cool.

My bad... I went to camp at Pace before they went to FDU.

Before Albany was in pleasantville or Ellenville NY. Near Valhalla
Congrats to the Teaneck boys!
Different location. Giants trained at FDU Florham in Madison, a D3 school. This is FDU mTro Campus in Teaneck/Hackensack, a DI NEC school.

Bobby Hurley"s job in jeopardy.
Congrats to FDU. I hope they win a couple more.
