Last year Joe Schoen drafted Dane Belton of Iowa, and Giant's long snapper Casey Kreiter is also a former Hawkeye.
Iowa has 5 players that will be highly sought in this year's draft:
1. DE Lukas Van Ness
2. ILB Jack Campbell
3. TE Sam La Porta
4. CB Riley Moss
5. S Kaevon Merriweather
A case can be made for each being on the Giants draft board.
It will be interesting to see which members of the Giants staff will be attending. My guess? Quite a few, and keep in mind that the Iowa State Pro Day (with another 4-5 draftable players) is being held the following morning.

2. Campbell recently suffered a horrible tragedy. His grandfather traveled to Jack's bowl game, to witness his grandson's final college game. On the morning of the game, while walking in the hotel parking lot, he was hit by a shuttle van and killed. Campbell's parents decided it best not to inform Jack of what happened until after the game had ended. Hard to imagine such a family loss.
