It seems the deals and new lines are paying off now. I think it was Dave Maloney the other night saying it seemed that the new lines were leveled properly and it is more of a rotation. All 4 lines are capable of putting it in the back of the net with regularity.
especially two periods of it after a team scores 6 in the first period. I guess a coach would send out their third defense pairing and their fourth line to soak up minutes?

That was a massacre last night, which is what it should have been given that Nashville was missing every one of their impact players in the game. Chytil’s goal was McDavid-like, carving through 4 guys after taking the puck from inside his own blue line. Obviously tomorrow and Thursday will be tougher than this game, but the Rangers have been successful against Carolina this year, and obviously took them out in the playoffs. The division is not out of reach if they can win these 2 games. Ultimately, it’s just about staying healthy the rest of the way. It was good to see Fox only get 18 minutes last night, and only Miller, Trouba, Schneider went over 20 minutes. This will be important as the season finishes, with the extra minutes all these guys played in the lead up to the Kane trade.

Yeah, it sucks. Unlike the NFL or NBA, you can't exactly clear your benches. Limit minutes, sure, but pretty much everyone has to play.
We are so talented. There is not a single actual plug in our lineup right now besides Ben Harpur
