Wow. The Detroit Lions are signing former Eagles S C.J. Gardner-Johnson to a one-year, $8 million deal with $6.5M guaranteed signing, per @TomPelissero. The safety market has absolutely cratered. And yet it’s still shocking the Eagles wouldn’t even match that. Telling.
yes max 4. i dont think greedy is going to make enough to cancel anything out they werent already not getting.
Hargrove, Edwards, Quinn and Semalo do not count in the Comp pick formula because their contracts were voided. I don’t think they will be getting close to what you are thinking comp pick wise.
Roseman shot his load and is still trying to win with the aging roster. This is a very old team at this point and now will lack quality depth. They have a lot of talent still but the the roster is old and thin.
Sources say a week ago the eagles offered CJGJ a 3 year deal 2 guaranteed for more money total than the one year he signed with Detroit … … more to this story I’m sure will eventually come out

if void years dont shorten the initial contract they still count. korte is usually very accurate in his projections (these arent from me, they are from otc).
but the degree of difficulty is going to get even harder after hurts gets paid.
It's the price of winning or even getting to the SB, start to lose free agents...show me the money. I would not have mind if the Giants signed Gardner-Johnson to a one year deal myself. They must be high on Pinnock, can't believe they are that high on Belton, he doesn't have the range back there.

of course but it gets harder to replace when you have less money. they are already working to replace 7 starters and hurts is making 4.7m. how many more are they going to have to replace when he's counting +40m per year?

Void years do not affect comp picks. A player who leaves in a void year counts as a free agent for compensatory purposes.
