thought the world of him. When I arrived here in 2004 (a time when the 2004 arrivals were widely mocked, a BBI rite of passage back then), he was already kind of quiet and didn't say that much. But it took a while to get a feel for a lot of the players here, many of whom are no longer here ):
Some of you had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with him. Great guy by all accounts and always clued in to what was what. Helped a lot of folks out on the website too.

Definitely did. I never met him personally, but I was friends with him on Facebook and he always used to give me quality advice.

That was the thing. He had an inate ability tobknow when you needed to hear something...good or bad...to help you on your journey. He'd just reach out. And his advice was always spot on.
Definitely missed by me. It was always a pleasure to converse with him and/or just read his posts. Phil was one of the best parts of the BBI community. A great loss for all of us.
hanging with him a few different times in LA and NY and he really was such a welcoming and positive guy. That's what stands out for me... he never really let any negativity affect him here or in real life, at least not publicly.

HBD Phil.
Schnitzie, Bob in Annapolis, ATar...the list is too long
I miss the mark on all 3. RIP, Phil.
Not to take away from him but Hope was a great positive poster who made a great impact here as well.
Both gone way to soon
