Yeah Randle bitches way too much but that was completely understandable there. The refs handed them the game on that play. On an iso play completely out in the open that was a push-off

He did it twice, he ran over Brunson a couple of plays before, clmpletely shoved Brunson to the ground
Brunson has to be better on defense, RJ had some poor decisions where he forced the issue (shocker), IQ had 2 bad fouls on 3 pt attempts and missed shots he normally makes, Mitch's bad hands hurt a couple of times, and Randle (despite being brilliant for much of the night) was completely nonchalant on that rebound he lost when we were down three. He's just way too casual during the biggest moments. Bad loss.
the defensive effort appeared to be ok. Brunson had a rough night but his physical limitations are what they are. It does seem like our guards and wings are very eager to chase teams off the 3 pt line and have them drive towards Mitch. But it's not that hard for the other team to get an open 3 anyway off that with a drive and kick.
Along with the Minnesota win, Dallas is now half a game away from the 8th seed. Dallas is 7 and Minnesota is 8. The best situation is for Dallas to finish 9 or 10 so they get bounced after 1 loss as opposed to 2.
Knicks are up 2 games against the Nets, and Knicks currently own the tiebreaker because of conference record. They play Cavs twice this week both at home. I could see a split there but Nets have lost 3 in a row i believe. Then they go play the Heat in Miami which helps the Knicks because someone will lose.
Knicks are up 3 on the Heat and still have 2 games left against Miami BUT i belive the Knicks have clinched the tiebreaker against them because the Knicks conference record is so much better.
Knkcks play at Miami on Wednesday and i expect Miami to come out fast, you know they arent happy losing twice to the Knicks already.
I expect this Knicks team to come out better defensively, you know they werent happy and this is a team that has bounced back all year.
I exoect Brunson to have a big game he called himself out last night and i expect him to redeem himself.
It will be a physical, slow paced game, typical Heat vs Knicks game with a 50/50 crowd
Not that the Knicks D was great by any stretch but Minny was playing out of their minds offensively considering the players they were missing. Everything they shot was going in for long stretches of the game. I mean everything.
Sometimes a team just has this absolutely incredible night offensively and that was what happened yesterday I think. I imagine was their highest shooting percentage for a game all year. And we still kept up and even led for a bit before cooling at the end.

Minnesota literally never went cold. Even when they blew the 17 point lead it wasn't because they were missing shots its because Randle went all video game mode. If Randle doesn't have a career night we lose that by 20 easy and it would have been easier to shake off. When a team shoots 61% overall and 58 from 3 that's not a game you're usually in.

talking to the crowd and smiling...maybe play a little defense and you would play more
He stinks. What a terrible pick
Frank '17, Knox'18 and Obi '20. 3 top 10 picks completely botched. like completely. You could literally blindfold a 5 year old and play pin the tail on the donkey and come up with better picks.
being used primarily as a spot up 3 point shooter which is ridiculous. 60% (!) of his shots this year have been from 3.
He has the physical skills to be the best in-game dunker we've had since Amare. Yet they hardly ever never use him in the pick and roll.

I think with Randle playing 35 minutes a night, Obi will never succeed here but he has been awful, yes they can use him in pick and rols more but his defense has been crap as well and where are the run outs? he used to get 6 to 8 points just on run outs..
I think he will be gone in the offseason and they areally need to bring in a 3 and d guy who can play the 3 or 4 for 15 to 20 minutes a night

drafting in the back half of the lottery can get dicey, but these picks were questionable in the moment as well. The Knox pick especially looks rough as that looks to have been a loaded draft. There was like 20 players taken after him who are all clearly better. Why does Scott Perry still have a job?
Multiple stars are going to be traded this offseason
At least that what the rumors make you think is going to happen.
Knicks are in prime position. Multiple FRPs and young tradeable assets.
Hart and Quickley probably stay.
RJ, Obi most tradeable then Grimes and McBride.
Fournier as cap filler.
We are lined up real well especially if a high efficiency 2 way player at the 2,3 or 5 spot shakes loose. Embiid and Brown are the top 2 I can think of at the moment. Either one puts us firmly in the championship contender conversation.

Seems like this is the offseason that is set up to put the finishing touches on this team and you know the tean for the next few years
Wolves needed that game a helluva lot more than we did. Barring someone collapse or us collapsing, it looks like we're locked into a first round matchup vs. Donovan & the Cavs. That'll be fun.
Yeah, him & Beal both are committed to franchises going nowhere quick. I think it is somewhat admirable not to go ring chasing.
i think its stupid from both parties to be honest. Both Portland and Washington are dumb, both teams need a reboot, they can get a lot for both Lillard and Beal..
as for Lillard and Beal, i get it they are haply where they are and they got a ton of money for doing it but i dont get how they are hally at this point in their careers with no chsnce to win
not the end of the world if they lose this game since they still have another game at hom against the Heat next week, bit would be nice to ease the pressure and win this one..
Big game for Rj, Grimes, Quick and Hart, They should be able to take advantage of their matchups. I assum Bam on Randle and Brunson on Butler, the others habe to step up..
Rj should be able to have a free rim with Bam guarding Randle..Love would be the only big protecting the rim and well that should be an easy finish..Rj needs to continue to attack especially with Herro on him. If the help comes kick out to the open man, if Bam helps kick out to Randle...

This loss doesn't kill us come back and beat Miami and we are in control
Charlotte loss was different, they had nothing that game, Brunson hurt, Randle no legs..
This game was a team getting extremely hot from 3, Knicks played hard Twolves just wouldnt miss
I also expect Miami to come out hard as well after losing twice to the Knicks already
No its not...just make sure to start wednesdays
You know what that means? their fricken good, they got you caring about every game

Lol.
Your video game anology is appropriate.
That game was like a video game on rookie mode.

Embiid is the big one to watch..
Guys like KP, Beal, Paul George could all become available..
I also think there is an avenue to become a contender by adding good pieces that are better fits rsther than the "star"
Dame and Brunson work? Knicks probably would have to score 150 a night
As for Dame, I'll believe he wants out of Portland when he actually says it.

Ive been told he wont ask out..he ha smade so many comments about not teaming up and things like that that he feels he cant ask out now

i am rooting for Cavs but i dont think you can go wrong with either, i dont think Knicks will catch Cleveland their schedule is suoer easy..
and the more losses by the Nets solidifies the Knicks position more...
But he made 3rd team all NBA one time! Not sure if Phil giving Melo a no trade was worse. Probably was.

This is a game for the roleplayers to step up
