Rangers look to keep their red hot offense and goaltending rolling tonight with a last gasp chance at winning the division. They need 2 regulation wins against Carolina tonight and Thursday to have any chance, and even then, there's not much runway especially with Carolina having 2 games in hand. No surprise that Igor is in net, and we finally get to see Lindgren after an 11 game absence. Let's hope the boys keep cookin'!
Would be nice to jump to the 2-seed to get that home ice first round. But odds are it's the NJD either way, so travel isn't a concern.
The extra game at MSG would be nice, even if Prudential will be more like 50/50 crowds.
Most important thing to me is just keep playing good hockey, keep Igor in good form, good forward backcheck, and continute to improve DZ breakouts.
Best of all Igor is back to top form.

Much bigger reasons to get home ice than the crowd.

The #NYR announced they've signed prospect Brett Berard to a 3-year entry level contract. The contract kicks in next season, but he'll report to
@WolfPackAHL
for the rest of this season an an Amateur Tryout basis. The Wolf Pack has 11 games remaining in the AHL regular season.
Panarin - Zib - Tarasenko
Kreider - Trocheck - Kane
Laf - Chytil - Kakko
Vesey - Goodrow - Motte
Lindgren - Fox
Miller - Trouba
Mikkola - Schneider

fun player. small, but fiery. from RI, played at Providence.
he is a Coaches kid - and it's obvious (his father was head coach at Holy Cross until becoming the associate AD at providence where as mentioned Brett goes).
will be interesting to see how he acclimates to the NHL. Brad Marchand-type? obviously optimistic but due to size and tenacity the comparison will be made at some point.
we'll see....he's hard to replace
tonight to protect against possible Lindgren setback.
Pacioretty only played 4+ games.
At the time of the acquisition I felt like good add for the half season he plays, but he didn't even make it to double digit games played. I don't view him as a loss even though he's an awesome player because they never really had him if you know what I mean.
Svechnikov has turned into a elite power forward. He's not the kid knocked out by Ovi anymore. He is legit "impose your will on the opponent" kind of player.
At times he reminds me of Forsberg (Peter not Filip) - so strong on the puck, combined with toughness and skill, obviously a different era but that's how good I think Svechnikov is. Huge loss, insurmountable IMO. But we'll see.
Streaming game right now on my iPad. Suck my ass Xfinity!

Went to cook dinner, came back, Rangers lose in regulation. What a fucking bummer

Me too, because he's probably the strongest player on the team besides Trouba.
Late night last night, started at 9:30 -- single guy in my early/mid 30s without kids living alone, so it gives me the ability to just do things on my own schedule
I don't believe this. You have such a delightful personality.
