The Giants have center J.C. Hassenauer in for a visit on Wednesday, per source. Spent the past four years with the Steelers. Appeared in 45 games with seven starts.
Giants looking to add depth at center after allowing Jon Feliciano and Nick Gates to walk.#giants #steelers #NFL
in between in 2018 he was on atlanta's practice squad and in 2019 he played for the birmingham iron before getting signed by pitt in 2020.
Unfortunately the weight ain't good for an offensive lineman, 295.
Thank you, Mort! I needed that laugh.

Maybe we have the next Jason Kelce (kidding)

Yeah, who's going to interview him???
Correction: that was DAVID Hassenauer.
Appropriate name for a question begging about his availability for 60 minutes of football: Has an hour.
I thought that was Hasselhoffanauer?
I think we need to act as if Lemieux no longer exists, and if he somehow gets any snaps, great

will be in the mix for Center too- along with a draft pick and signing.

I agree but we did bring in Billy Price who was an actual Center. That didn't work out so good... lol

We’ve tried to turn Guards into Centers over the past few years with middling results. Gates seemed like he could of turned into a pretty darn good Center, but they just had to use him at Guard! Anyway, this guy looks like he’s had decent enough results at the position to warrant a signing. Not sure he’d be the starter, and I do hope we draft somebody in the first two days of the draft as there’s a few very good OC in this class. Let’s find someone now to anchor that line, ala Kelce, for the next ten years and not have to worry about that position!

Calling Billy Price a real C is an insult to all C down to the peewee level!
I'm sure in the next 7 months our brain trust will get it done.

I only wish our head coach and GM knew this... LOL
