3 games separate the two teams. As has been the case for most of the year, the Knicks D needs to step up and it will be the reason we either go far in the playoffs or not. Miami has struggled on offense this year so hopefully this is a good matchup for us. Knicks are 2-0 against Miami this year if I have that correct with 2 more games against them remaining.
Id also throw Rj on Jimmy, Grimes better suited to chase around Herro
They muck up the game and you Know Butler is going to be allowed to play physical and going to benefit from calls all game

He needs to not settle for 3s
I am not afraid of the 5 or 6 place first round series
and what is Hartenstein doing? he had Butler trapped on the baseline and just moves out of the way lol
He has made great passes tonight
I dont doubt he works hard in the offseason, but when you go to a game, watch how he warms up and you will see why he plays the way he does..I really liked Toppin ckming into this season, but when i watched him during warmups i was done
and can we not let Gabe Vincent beat us please
Finally letting the game come to him and not forcing.
We are going to need him in the playoffs.
Dude gets away with so much, jjst grabbed Mitch's leg and wouldnt let him run and the ref did nothing
5 possessions later I'm still waiting.
Definitely McBride’s kinda game. Should’ve been unleashed for a few minutes against Minny the other night too.
Meanwhile Adebayo and Love throw their hips out on every screen

How? He did nothing on that play but stand there. Lowry pulled the Marcus Smart, tripped over his own shoelaces and slid across the floor like flipper.

Dont even run out and try to set a pick, there are 5 seconds left on the shot clock, you are never going to get set in time

He was perfectly set and there was no contact
ehh their offense has been fine, they have gotten plenty of open looks, they really havnt iso'd
The problem has been the heat shooting the best they have all season from 3 and every time the kNicks get a little momentum there has been a foul call
none unfortunately

i meant because everytime they get physical its a foul
We have 106 points with almost 4 minutes to go. The offense has been fine

Their game plan was clearly to blitz the ball at the top of the key and make someone other than Brunson get assists, and the Knicks haven’t adjusted all game. The refs have been awful as well and Randle is clearly losing his cool, but Thibs is barely making a peep.

The Knicks have 15 turnovers and Brunson has 5. That’s way more than usual and it’s due entirely to the Heat double teaming the ball at the top of the key.
Don't worry because these frauds took like 25 games off this year they'll get their ass handed to them in the 1st Rd.
Miami has brooklyn and then in Toronto on Tuesday so they will be on a back to back wednesday
Nets are freefalling, i dont think they will fall into play in..Miami has a tough finishing stretch
you’re right, but don’t tap out, 42-32 is better than expected

You can look at it in isolation and say Miami had a great shooting night. But then you look at Minnesota and say they had a great shooting night. Then you start to realize that the common denominator is just the Knicks. You can't let Miami score 125+ points. It's just ridiculous.

I'm not. I know how it sounded. I'm just saying I am not starting game threads anymore. I caught lightning in a bottle with the Denver game.
At this point it’s comic
What a terrible call, Hartenstein doesnt move and Love runs him over
This year they are 16th.
This team has come a long way since Thibs first took over and we had Payton. We played great D and our offense was pathetic. Now we can score with anybody but our defense is pretty much trash. We got Hart to help out but he is one guy. Randle has been great offensively but he hasn't brought the same defensive play from when Thibs first came here imo. Barrett has taken a HUGE step back defensively this year although he seems to be coming around. We have Mitch, Hartenstein at C instead of Mitch and Noel. Grimes should be better than he has played lately on D. We have Duece who can be very useful but isn't used. Hart has been fantastic. We have Brunson instead of Burks but Burks didn't really guard 1s all the time. I remember when Barrett used to. Quickley has been fantastic.
I personally don't think it is the individual players. Imo, it is Thibs' system. We encourage teams to shot threes by constantly collapsing into the paint. But, teams want to shoot the three in today's NBA. This would be the equivalent of Bill Belichick trying to take away our TEs in the SB instead of taking Nicks and Cruz out of the game. It just doesn't make sense. This is why a bunch of us are so frustrated with Thibs. This team can be a lot better with a different philosophy, system, outlook, etc. If I looked this up correctly, do you know how many other times Miami scored 127+ points this year? Three times. We were their 4th. They aren't an offensive team.
This team needs to figure it out quickly because the playoffs are a different animal. Not too long ago it looked like we had an outside shot at the 3 seed. We were looking ahead. Now we are looking behind and hoping we stay out of the play in tournament.
Then laughed and said he only made 2 buckets and sat, which is BS

Lol. So you fell hook line and sinker with what Dan LeBatard was trying to do. Why anyone listens to any of those blowhards is beyond me.
Win on Wednesday and all is right again.

now you got dan lebatard laughing at Knicks fans immortalizing Willis Reed, says the only reason the moment of him coming out of the tunnel is so big is because it was in NY..

Did the clown mention anything about why his beloved Miami had a half empty arena last night, with most of the fans there being Knicks fans?
His hatred of all things NY stems from his subconscious being ashamed by his hometown being the worst sports town in America.

You're not joking. That was embarrassing last night. That arena was definitely half empty. What a pathetic sports town. The Devs were playing the Panthers there the other night on a Saturday night and that arena was half empty too with the Panthers fighting tooth and nail for a playoff spot.

There’s a ton of clowns in sports media but he might be the worst. A complete moron on all levels.
Win the next 2 for some breathing room.
my son and I are going to the game tonight. When we went last year, it was one of the Knicks most decisive wins of the season. I'll be happy with a win, but agree it would be nice if it's decisive.
I'm also hoping to say hello to Clyde before the game, even if it's not close up. Anyone have any advice?

BUT i would really love it if the Knicks can make tonight a nice easy win...please and thanknyou from my cardiologist

That would be great. Have about an hr and half drive to orlando. I've got to pick up my son from HS, drive him home (opposite direction) so he can take his after school dump (he won't go at school) and try to get to arena by 6. Gonna be close. Have told son no dillydallying with the dookie.
