but didn't have great results doing so, though he did have 6 ints that year so seems like a good depth signing with at least a little upside. tested well for a bigger cb out of psu. seems like a good depth signing.

With his size I wonder if he will play a hybrid CB/S role.

i think the appeal is likely that in a season where he pressed on 400+ snaps he also had 6 ints and decent enough advanced metrics in terms of passer rating when targeted. other than jackson he is probably the most experienced press corner on the roster so i think that's likely where he plays.

This is a very solid signing for the Giants. If he sucks they can just cut him without issue. However after seeing him record 6 interceptions two seasons ago I look forward to seeing what this coaching staff can get out of him after the surprisingly strong seasons from journeymen Fabian Moreau and Nick McCloud.
Depth talent, a lottery ticket on a big, long athlete
to reshape the roster with better and better players that are system fits. The depth on this roster is immensely improved over last year. You could argue every single unit on this team is improved with OL in theory improving because rookies will be better in their second year and Bred perhaps as an upgrade on Feliciano.

Yes - he was benched along with two other players and the Lions tried to trade him before the deadline last year
Considering this site can't pronounce Hakeem Nicks it isn't a high bar

Useful against the AJ Browns, bigger WRs or even TEs possibly.

Seems like a good player to give a shot to.
His career with the Lions went on a huge downfall following that game.
But as others pointed out, he had an outstanding 2021.
Giants fans need to appreciate the superior skills of our DB coach Jerome Henderson. One of the very best- so I like this signing.
No, they do it to make Bob Papa's life miserable.
No reason to complain.
Guy was a ball hawk in 2021, but was AWFUL last year (30 off grade, one of the lowest I’ve seen)
Let’s hope the change of scenery does him well and we can get the 2021 version, which Lions fans wanted to sign to a long term contract
lol

the Giants intentionally draft/sign players with names that make my life miserable?

Come on, Eileen!
Was over 70 his rookie season. Maybe a reclamation project.

Lol. There are so many.
We have experience with how a coaching change can instantly help a player.
Just look at Corey Webster's story. Looked like shit. Fired the DC. New guy put him in position to succeed.

Thanks.
Wait until we draft OO, the UM Center, as a UM fan , whose name I still can’t pronounce correctly!

Haha, turn it into what we did for Owa Odighizuwa. Here, it's Olu Oluwatimi. Could be worse.
No, but if we win the SB with him you'll be singing his name in French! ;-)

it's the first one on this highlight reel of his 9 career ints. lamar threw this one up for grabs but he was guarding hollywood brown on the play.

That’s really interesting. That may explain a lot.
