FA WR Bryan Edwards visited the #Giants today, sources tell @theScore.

Former 3rd-round pick of the #Raiders went for 34/571/3 in 2021.
Another measurables guy

Yep
JonC : 3/23/2023 4:10 pm : link
looking for lotto tickets, even if it's contributor levels.
This brought flashbacks to Braylon Edward’s
bhill410 : 3/23/2023 4:14 pm : link
And the dude claiming on here that giants had starting printing his jersey for sale.
pretty good sign that they are getting some desirable vsb's
Eric on Li : 3/23/2023 4:15 pm : link
they did right by all their vsb's last year so i guess what goes around comes around.
Good stuff -Giants building depth with solid guys
TheBlueprintNC : 3/23/2023 4:24 pm : link
We had zero depth last year -and who knows one of these guys might standout too.
Goddamn I'll never forget
CromartiesKid21 : 3/23/2023 4:25 pm : link
His freshman year with the Gamecocks...I thought he would be a sure hit in the nfl
I liked him for us in the draft

Really liked Edwards during the draft
Rick in Dallas : 3/23/2023 4:37 pm : link
Has he been hampered by injuries??
Kinda lost sight of him since his days in South Carolina
Combination of injuries
RomanWH : 3/23/2023 4:43 pm : link
And the emergence of Hunter Renfrow limited his touches. Liked him coming out of that draft.
Damn sign everyone Joe
Jim in Forest Hills : 3/23/2023 4:54 pm : link
I remember him from the draft.
I was always surprised he didn't amount to much with the Raiders.
Tom in NY : 3/23/2023 4:54 pm : link
He was fun to watch at SC.

Knows he won’t land a #1 so he is buying lotto tickets to see if someone pans out. Sign a bunch of whatever’s and let the depth chart fall based on performance, practice, coach evaluations. Not a terrible strategy. Still think in the end it will be clear all we have is #3 WRs and a couple 2s but nothing wrong with bringing in comp and letting chips fall
Insanely
Straw Hat : 3/23/2023 5:01 pm : link
Good measurables. Comes up small on the field. If it was between him and crowder, we made the right choice.
i liked him coming out as well
GiantsFan84 : 3/23/2023 5:21 pm : link
but he has really disappointed to date. i can't imagine he'd garner more than the minimum. certainly worth a flyer
This keeps us from drafting
jvm52106 : 3/23/2023 5:44 pm : link
Multiple WR's and provides depth in competition. No more borderline athletic, overachievers all competing against each other. It will be a room of physical attributes that maybe figure things out mentally and schematically.

I still think we draft a WR in at least the first three rounds and probably the first two.

I like that even though we are bringing in a bunch of wr3/4 types, its a level above our street FA, practice squad/ 4th string wrs that were littered on the team thru 2022

Nothing against a david sills type if he could run a 40 .2 seconds faster, different story but zero separation from guys like that

This doesn't stop us from drafting multiple WR's at all. What it does do is make it less of an issue if we don't end up drafting multiple WR's. There are enough guys here to battle it out and find the best fits but that won't stop the Giants from drafting younger guys they like and it shouldn't. It's flexibility
Also, our leading receiver last year
jvm52106 : 3/23/2023 5:48 pm : link
Had 57 receptions.. Edwards stats don't look that bad on our squad.
Competing with the Jets

Hey, maybe one of these guys can return punts instead of our starting cornerback, or going back to 2021..starting safety
Crowder has always been
KDavies : 3/23/2023 7:04 pm : link
a solid PR

Who are the #2s? Maybe that is Parris Campbells ceiling but he hasn't reached it? Exact same with Slayton. Hasn't reached it. I see all 3s and maybe some 2s could emerge from them if lucky.
